I'm a naturally optimistic so I am, optimistic, of course. I'm not sure what it is that you KNOW that makes you so 'concerned' I don't know anything about the bloke so, like I said, I remain optimistic.

It never cease to amaze me how suddenly people become experts in business, finance and football takeovers - when in reality, their only expertise is on kebabs, eBay and Amazon. 
All I care about is being able to watch my team, hopefully do well, be entertained - and that’s it. 
I’ll just chill my beanz and watch other ‘know it all’s’ go in to sizemic meltdowns ?

Quite - I think people misunderstand 'potential' as well. There's far more value in looking at Derby than any number of Premier League clubs like Southampton, Palace, Brighton would cost multiple times more but they're at their peak, they've essentially reached their potential....

Couple of things - I think it's a sad part of football today, we spend a lot of time talking about finances, I guess because so much more information is available. It was a bad day when people (and Kieran Mcguire) discovered companies house and decided they could add 2+2 and get 17
Secondly, in the same way that the tens of millions that a club gets for reaching the PL is rather overstated is it is basically all (and more) consumed by salaries and transfers, the same is true for relegation. We'd be losing players, so be it....
Me too, simpler times and all that! Big away followings, new ground and we won more often, what's not to like?

This is the long and short of it. People can bleat all they want about how all three should be sacked if Keogh was but the fact is that a young player who is under a reasonable length of contract holds all the cards. The club simply cannot just write off the £££s of value that are held in Bennett and Lawrence (regardless of your opinions of their actual worth), if only because of FFP. Additionally we would be unable to replace them until January and even then it's likely the finances would be stretched to the limit. All three of them (and others) behaved like knobs but Keogh got unlucky and cannot play for a year and sometimes, unfortunately, it comes down to luck. That's life. So long Rich, thanks for the memories and all that......

Aren’t the club just doing what’s right for the club ? Surely that’s as it should be , all three players did what they wanted on that night( plus many other nights?) with no regard to the club and fulfilling their side of their contract , 
now the club sacks the one who is on 25 k per week but due to his stupid selfish behaviour cannot play for a large chunk of his contract if ever again , punish the two who can still play and be sold ,get something back from for our financial outlay , there really is no moral dilemma here , 
I like rich as a player for us and am sad for him and us fans that do like him that it’s ended this way but it is what it is , we need to bring in a replacement ,we can’t and shouldn’t have to cause the club financial problems because of the actions of these players
