Fine win against a team who came to play which made for an entertaining game. Whole team put in a real shift despite several being below full fitness. How Adam’s puts in such a performance whilst not eating or drinking during daylight is astonishing. The wide players really put in a shift with CBT looking like the player we expected. Wilson was a real problem for them at RB. Sibley again good at LB and Cash and Nelson are imperious. 
Smith was my MoM his positional sense was excellent and Wildsmith has hit a rich vein of form since returning. Washington worked hard and made some good runs despite a lack of match fitness. All the subs then put in a shift and we saw the game out easily. Finally the support was great again, a win which makes the win against Bolton even more significant given results elsewhere.

Bearing in mind I  missed the Bolton game due to "Other stuff", I've gotta say, I thoroughly enjoyed this afternoon!
The walk in the sunshine to get there.  The queues at the turnstiles at 14:48.  The grit, determination and effort on the pitch.  The atmosphere from all points of the compass stands.  The cracking view of a cracking goal.  The relief at the final whistle.  The post-whistle celebrations on and off the pitch.  Heck, even the drenching from the 5 minute hailstorm on the way home!
No.  It wasn't a classic.  But it was bloody enjoyable, and I think every single one of us deserved that, after last week's all round poor output.
By jove... I do believe we're on our way... To the Championship, we're on our way...

Today is the first day I started to believe promotion might be possible, so I have given myself a good slap and come up with many scenarios by which we can blow it. We can already see from todays results how good Cambridge and Carlisle are, for example, so we will surely lose our last two games. Not to mention very tricky games at Portsmouth and Wycombe. I have now successfully re-convinced myself that we have no chance.

So, hang on. Are you saying you left her in A&E and came to the game without her?

The win today combined with bolton drawing takes some pressure off the portsmouth game.
Great effort, especialy Adams and it was great to see the whole team's reaction to his goal.

It's interesting to see how a lot of people are now suggesting 3 at the back rather than a back 4 that people have been saying is how we should be lining up. I've liked the idea of having a back 3. It allows us more players to attack, but gives us 5 at the back when defending. 
Big game today. No complacency please. We have to be professional and get the job done and not assume it's 3 points in the bank. Northampton will likely raise their game against us.

All going enjoy, and get behind the team, they need us every game now, if we turn up play our game, we will win,  I wil be watching this on Rams tv, as I could not get a ticket, think our wide players will be key in this one. Once A Ram Always A Ram.

I don’t think it was an attitude problem at all. Think he basically said he wasn’t up to our standard of training because of the low standard he’d be partaking in at Charlton. That added with a few niggles and he’s never really got going. 

After such a huge win last weekend PLEASE Derby can we not bottle it in this game. Please, just for once, can we actually see the job through and make it easy for ourselves.
This is exactly the sort of game we’ve had many times this season - a chance to really put the pressure on the teams around us when they’re not playing. And every time, it feels like, we’ve f***** it up with a pathetic half-arsed performance. It’s time for this team to get a grip, work like they’ve never worked before, and put Northampton to the sword. Show that strong character and personality, and show that they can see the job through.
We’ve bottled it wayyyy too many times from this sort of position in my lifetime. PLEASE Derby let’s make this season different and see it over the line. Do it for f****** B4! COME ON YOU f****** RAMS 

This is why this is such a key game.
After this our squad will get stronger as players return from injury. We just need to manage what we have to engineer 3 points. Win this and I'll be very confident of automatic promotion.

I’m the other way around. It would be icing on the cake to finish top but the overwhelming priority has to be to finish top two. It would be complacent/naive/carless of us to think top two is in the bag now. Of course, I wouldn’t expect PW to looking over his shoulder at the teams below when talking to the team. He, and the team, should literally be focusing on one game at a time (with an aim of winning each one) and not worrying about whether that means we catch Pompey or not.
