Tyler Durden got a reaction from Comrade 86 in Paul Warne
Think the best way to end this debate is to shake hands and both of you agree jono was right with everything he said.
Seems fair to me

It's not just us then they don't get the blatant penalty decisions 😛

I can sense your frustration now that you've been deprived of the ability to start another Warne Out thread.

When he said “we’ve got a good shape about ourselves”, I assume he wasn’t referring to himself.😅

I guess it's not just us who give away 90 minute goals. Funny that.

Steve Evans interview, penalty, penalty, penalty, referee, penalty …….
then quite complimentary about the build up to the goal, the finish, the crowd Paul Warne and the club.

Very strange reaction to a win, you’re almost disappointed that we won?
We’re second in the table. Whether you enjoy his football or management style is a different question, but ‘big’’ sides have failed multiple times in this division. If you look at results alone, he’s actually doing a very good job. To call him a clown is a little childish in my opinion.

My dad finally lost his battle this morning at the ridiculous age of 64.
Over the past month or so, he got stuck in a cycle of having excess fluid drained, the fluid coming back, being drained again, etc. The fluid eventually got into his lungs and, on top of that, he had the cancer in the background (which they couldn't directly treat because of all of the draining), and a skin infection that eventually led to sepsis. It was just too many issues for him to fight, even though he gave it a damn good go.
He deteriorated rapidly last night to the point of being very agitated and delirious, and I got a call from the nurses to come in at 3am. I knew it was the beginning of the end then, and the decision was made to withdraw treatment at about 11am. He went very peacefully within the hour.
Part of me wants to carry on like normal - go to the match tomorrow and have a few drinks after - but the healthiest decision is probably to skip it and have a bit of alone time to process it all.
I echo the last sentence of my previous post too - f*** cancer.

It’s not that I am pro or anti. It’s that the anti mob are so irritating. The so called pro side tend to reflect on the good and the bad. The anti are just fixated, win or lose. Never give an inch, dull, obsessed, spoilt, churlish and without perspective. I suspect that Those of us, (me included ) that are vaguely supportive, only post in a vain attempt to balance the one eyed vitriol.
Dreading Saturday .. looking like 4 strikers all injured, but it will be completely Warne’s fault if we lose, or pure luck if we win. Like a horrible scratched record.

It’s curious, I just don’t see it like that. I don’t think there is a single person on here that thinks PW is a born again genius. There are things about his style that don’t always appeal and, in the past, he has seemed inflexible. Most of us can see that and at the same time acknowledge he has some nous that has proved useful. I don’t see any, nominally, on the pro side who can’t see some of his weaknesses. The opposite of the anti’s who see everything that goes wrong on the pitch to the boardroom as Warne’s fault and will find a way to attribute it to him; be it budget, unforced errors or injuries and that’s before we even get to playing style.

Should start a poll asking which forum members will be unable to resist the temptation of starting another thread and for how long.
My vote would be next time we fail to win a game.
