Been looking forward to this....go on Lawrence Okolie.
Cakewalk for Fury in the end. Good performance.

Boxing gets a bad rep. My girlfriend gives me a bit whenever I pod out....'so violent, how can you blah, blah'. Then, tonight, I see some article on the BBC about the UFC fight where some bloke gets sparked by a kick to the head while holding his opponent's other foot.
So I look. Try it. See what you think.
I get the athleticism. I get the spectacular KO element. But I do not appreciate or respect the spectacle. All this UFC, cagefighting ******** is just so much crap.
Boxing. That's where the contest is, where the skill is to be appreciated, where the class is in fighting sport. The rest of it can do one. not interested.

Last summer when he was 16. The rumoured fee at the time was £1.2m with add-ons and a sell-on percentage of 20% (iirc).
A few years ago, I used to be similarly impressively obsessed with our club. Nowadays, I can only tip my hat to you. Thanks.

Best striker of the century for us. Will take some replacing...but we must.

I thought Whyte was bossing it, but I reckon Dillian bought that too. Got sloppy, got tagged by a worldy punch.
Thoroughly enjoyed it, far more than watching AJ pat Andy Ruiz in the face for 12 rounds.
I hope he gets his rematch, and I hope he wins. He's just short of the top class I reckon, but he's absolutely top value for the sport.

Lion.
Low budget little tale of a lost Indian boy. As a film, 6/10. As a tear jerking study in considering your own humanity...perfect.

I just think it's a bit of a mockery of how dangerous the sport can be once you introduce pro rules.
I expect them both to gas out early. That muscle and weight will use their energy within a round I reckon.
One of them to be on his arse before the end of the 3rd. Probably just pummeled to the floor and be more tired than hurt.
That's why professional fights with unprofessional fighters don't appeal to me. They're just street brawls and if you've ever been in a fight in your life then you'll know they don't last more than a few minutes max and with the adrenaline rushes and no breathing technique you're ruined. Shaky legs, jelly arms etc.
I think this fight will be especially awful because of the size of them and they're built for short bursts of huge amounts of power.
Bit of a kill joy aren't I?
All you say makes sense, and much as I'd like to see Eddie Hall knighted, I won't be watching this.
My concern is what if one of them really lands? Connects with everything behind it...do we reckon this could be extremely dangerous? Bit concerned. Or isn't that the way the dynamics work?

Must have been quite poignant for you? Hope everything is looking up for you.
Well, yes. Laughed and cried at it, to be honest.
I'm doing bloody well i-Ram, thanks. Nowt wrong with me that couldn't be fixed by a quiet afternoon session down the pub, a walk through the white peak and a solid 2-0 home win.

After Life. Recommend it.

Agreed. One of the best films of all time. The country club scene and the ‘lemons’ is quite possibly the funniest scene in film history. Di Caprio at his finest!
One of the good bits, true, but not really a laugh in it for me. Each to their own!

Definitely.
We'll learn so much about Usyk. Don't think there's a better HW to put it on Usyk's toes and bully him.
I think Usyk wins on points or late retirement/stoppage etc. I think he'll break Chisora down but not KO him. But the interesting thing will be with how he deals with Chisora's weight, strength and any combinations that put him on his back foot. Wonder if he will look strong.
Chisora's got to get on his toes and lean on, work close and overwhelm him with weight and strength. Make it horrible. If Usyk can't keep him off enough to let his class tell, then Del is in with a shot, but if Usyk dictates the range it'll be a long night for him.

Chisora vs Usyk May 23rd.
I'm all over that.

What hope have we got when a few weeks ago I saw people chuck McDonalds rubbish out of a car door, when they were still in the car park and about 10 feet from a bin?.
I'd make fast food outlets responsible for their own branded rubbish. Charge them.

All the chat, excuses and hype is irrelevant, Fury was incredible. Right up there with the finest heavyweight clashes in recent years...for me, the Fury and AJ vs Klitschko bouts were the only fights I've enjoyed more.
Joshua vs Fury should be amazing. I'm hoping for a trio of fights over the next two years, between two of the all time greats.
I think AJ learned a lot from the Ruiz defeat, and clearly has power and technique. I think Fury is the more streetwise fighter though, nasty, horrible, for 12 lots of three minutes. Who wins? duck knows. Can't wait to find out.

Fury on points.

I've had some issues and posted a little about my late wife's cancer, ultimately being bereaved, the struggles I had to cope as a single dad of bereaved children and how it nearly finally broke me and how hard it hit me when my dog got sick this summer.
I thought I'd just share that I met a lovely widowed lady my age a couple of months ago, and she makes me happy. I make her happy. We're a couple now. Things can and do get better, no matter what life throws at you, you can smile again. Hang in there people.

Dillian did enough, routine tick-over win. He'll be lighter and sharper when he gets his title shot. Love watching him box, because it's always a bit on the edge. You never know if he's going to spark someone out or walk onto one himself.
Povetkin just lost to Hunter for me, but it was close enough that the draw wasn't a disgrace,
Fury, Wilder and AJ surely need to go against each other over the next 18 months, belt ******** be damned. Usyk is a wildcard and he could win a belt, as could Dillian if the stars align, but I don't think he'll have the tools to beat all three. Then again, who saw Ruiz winning the belts last summer? Fascinating division at the moment.
