The RamsTrust minutes now released only offer an anodyne version of what went on over 4 hours. No answers were given to the key questions in that meeting - we all must know that now. Morris called the meeting because he was obliged to under EFL rules. He is trying to get back in their good books. The meeting simply gave him the opportunity to say ‘poor me’ to an audience. He has turned our club into a shambles, and I can’t wait for the day he leaves the club.

That would be around the 18th then,the last day the revised accounts have to be submitted.

There really wasn't any point to this meeting though, was there?
Club seems on its arse, many staff still furloughed, operating with a skeleton staff just to keep us ticking along.
Players grimacing while signing new deals, meanwhile others have no idea or not if there jobs will continue beyond the end of furlough next month.

I'm not his biggest fan, but I have to say Rooney was excellent in his press conference today. No crying and moaning about the restrictions, no excuse making, just total belief in his squad and his work on the training ground.
The proof will be in the pudding of course, but he does at least deserve some credit for how he's dealing with this current situation.

I don't see it that way when there's still outstanding payments he needs to make to the HMRC - he needs to honour his debts and leave the club as a going concern not as a debt riddled shell without a stadium. 

I respect a lot of what you've posted but there are some compelling points you've overlooked, Morris wasted £200 million quid of his own money through his own poor decisions and mismanagement.
I'm sure that he doesn't need reminding of that by supporters with the benefit of 20/20 reverse vision but still he needs to remain accountable for the situation HE has plunged the club into. 

It may be worthy of noting that the accountant we used is a huge DCFC Fan, nothing wrong in his accounting methods which are compliant within UK accounting regulations, but, assigning residual values to players at the ends of their contracts was against FFP P&S rules.  How many players have walked away with no transfer fee at the ends of their contracts?  Lots and therefore we do not know if they have any residual value so its a fair of the EFL to expect us not to do this.
Where I do have some sympathy is it has been reported that this method was agreed by the EFL, even if it wasn't why on earth did it take 3 years worth of accounts for the EFL to change their minds or point out the error?
Lets not lay this all at the EFLs door though, my understanding is we were the only club to do this, which is why we could afford to splash the cash as much as we did.  Sadly though failure to get to the promised land has lead to us realising losses now that we ignored by kicking the can down the road!
We are where we are though and the sooner this sorry mess gets resolve the better, I still believe that the 4 years of accounts are going to make for very grim reading......

You are deluded, The precarious position MM has engineered regarding EFL and finances is entirely his fault! 
Secondly if he was so desperate to sell, then the price would reflect that.
All this BS rhetoric from MM crying wolf regarding finances and only wanting whats best for Derby is in my opinion not worth the paper it's written on!

Rooney has probably relayed to them what he had been told by MM. I can't see Rooney stating he expected to see signings in the next 48 hours (last weekend) if he hadn't been given assurances from higher up.

Potentially "put off" new investors etc. is just a smokescreen. MM in all his vanity won't be able to stand to hear fans protesting against him,his comment if fans start chanting "Mel out" he might just walk  says it all.

I can't believe this thread ever existed. Just let it sink in that without a takeover there will probably be no Derby County next season. Hide behind the EFL and covid all you like the facts are this situation has happened due to serious mismanagement at the top of this football club. Nobody else has control of the finances. 

Yes everybody is aware of MM wanting to sell,maybe it's how he wants to sell,as the club stands with all the debts etc., and prospective buyers saying you sort all the mess out then we will buy

I think you need to wise up to the complete disaster MM is turning out to be. If you purchase any business you are responsible for it! In good and bad times. Just because you have decided to sell does not relinquish you of those obligations. I find it personally very unbecoming of MM to be crying wolf regarding finances.
As i think I remember from scriptures "who is the more generous, the man who has untold wealth who gives copiously or the poor woman who has nothing, but gives the church her last penny" 
MM I think you need to stand up, and be counted!
