Yes, just look at his stats for his time with us.

The one thing I’ll say re:Hourihane is that it did surprise me to see him get so much flack for a performance where I thought he was one of our more ok players, compared to Adams and NML who I thought kept losing the ball in key positions. Or say someone like Wilson who put in a lot of crosses but a lot fell to the heads of their defenders. It may have been an issue with how they were set up. Waghorn kept coming deep, NML was too central at times and in Thompsons space etc, which probably comes with having to play an unsettled side due to injuries.
I get the Hourihane criticisms and given out enough of them over the last two seasons, but I didn’t think after Saturday he quite deserves the criticism he got over a few others.
To think, I clicked on this to see if there was a video of Bradley’s incident!

Organises what? Bad performances and a swiss cheese midfield? Whatever attributes he still has is not worth it for how invisible he is.

I'd pick Fornah with a broken back over Hourihane.

Football is a fickle game. Made a mistake and will pay for it with a ban. But he still has value to us.
When he comes on as sub against Carlisle to nod in the winner that sends us up, everyone will be singing his name.

Fully deserves criticism of course.  But now he's made out to be far worse than he is and the "never play in a derby shirt again" comments are laughable.

He made a mistake, he’s only human.

Is it his fault that Rooney, Nyambe Forsyth are injured? Is it his fault that Ward and Wilson look shakey at right back?

He should know better and it has left us in a bit of a pickle. But as others have alluded to, he’s hardly been prime Maldini.

Not too long ago if he’d have got a 3 match ban nobody would’ve batted an eye lid.

Ultimately we’re better off with him available, especially with our injury problems. He probably hasn’t earnt his corn and he made a mistake. But he won’t be the first or the last.

He may come back for Leyton Orient and help us win our last 3.

Oh god.  The inevitable sanctimonious pile-on.  And here's me thinking this forum couldn't get any more tedious.

Couldn’t help thinking - watching England Brazil - that despite being in a different league MacGuire displays a few of the same failings that Bradley does

I know he's no McFarland but he's a class above Claude Davis in my opinion - you must've never seen him play, have a bad memory or just don't like him to suggest he's worse than Davis.

Makes Claude Davis look like Maldini. Utterly horrific signing.

It wasn't only Warne who thought he'd be a great signing

This the sort of ‘right character’ Warne insisted we needed at the club.
A marquee summer signing that’s struggled to hold down a place, been more detrimental than positive when he has played and is in all likelihood probably the highest paid defender in the league.
A true leader knowing we’re down to our last three centre backs, in a huge promotion run-in, slaps his daft head on another player because of his own inadequacies. Any chance we can get out from under his contract his summer needs to be explored.

90 pts should do it, 92 certainly will. Focus on that rather than what other teams are doing. Win the next game, that is all for now.
