Clarification: I quite like Warne the person, he wears a bobble hat, it's Warne the manager of Derby County that I'm less keen on.

So he's not even waiting to see if we get promoted; he'd rather play for Bristol even if we're in the same division.
I wonder if that's because it's not fun as a midfielder with our tactics?

Is it too late to keep Bird and get rid of Warne?

Let's see if we use the money smartly... Welcome to Derby, Lee Gregory!

Replaced by Vic Moorland, not his fault, by that manager that shall not be named - entirely his fault.
    Shudder. I won't sleep now.

To lose Roy McFarland the best defender, maybe even footballer, the club has ever had and the best in England at the time, for all but the last four games of the season in 74-75, for Derby still to win the top division, Colin Todd - who was himself second only to Roy Mac - had to further step up.
    He did. He was superb.
That's no insult to Ticker Daniel who also rose to the challenge.
    But Colin Todd was immense.
Recognised by his fellow professionals with the PFA player of the year award.
Captain of Sunderland at 19. His signing dominated the local headlines even in the face of mass layoffs at RR.
Fast, great in the air considering his size, read the game so well and the cleanest tackler you'd ever see. A true great. Ram 🐏

Great gesture from a great player
I seem to remember reading a post by @loweman2 a few years back saying that Todd had little to do with the club much to his regret, so am particularly pleased to see this today. Given David Clowes is very passionate about our history, hopefully we'll see some of the other 70s heroes in & around PP a bit more.

Jake Rooney - ACL Injury, probably not back this season or very late in the season depending on recovery.
Conor Washington - Ankle injury(?) due back some time in February.
Martyn Waghorn - Calf injury(?), due back some time in February.
Tyrese John-Jules - Hamstring tear, no due back date but sounded like months rather than weeks from what Warne said.
Craig Forsyth - Calf Injury, out for another 3 weeks
Callum Elder - Missed Cheltenham game with a hamstring complaint, Warne said on either Fri or Sat that he’s likely to be out for 10 days so slim chance he’s involved against Charlton but I wouldn’t want us to risk him if it’s hamstring related.
Korey Smith - suffered a knee injury a while back, was pictured in training pics a couple of weeks ago but DET now saying he suffered a setback so is unavailable.
    Info taken from here and other bits I remembered;
