Wow. I know we’ve been through hell (in football terms) for the last 12-24 months but come on, I can’t believe people are actually genuinely concerned about this. He has the money, he’s proven to everyone concerned including the EFL he has the money, they wanted to conclude it before this week so didn’t think about the ramifications of the holidays this week, with so many moving parts to a deal and when you’re absolutely focussed on getting the deal done things like this can be overlooked even by the professionals. 
 
I think some people need to chill out. At some point in the next week (imminently ?) we will begin our new era. ?

For 2022, that is £600 per week (no doubt inflated by mega-millionaires) ?
5 times that is £3,000 per week, which even our wage-restricted footballers exceeded. Meanwhile, we all read headlines about what the likes of Salah and Haaland are on.
I'd say they were relatively poorly paid to today's top footballers, regardless of the person in the street!

All I want is to see footage of CK sat there saying "Well I've bought this club but who is Derby?" 
Then we get a number of people (Rooney, Davies, Allsopp) Spartacus style saying "I am Derby" then it goes to Max Bird: "I am Derby and so's my mate" camera pans across to Shinnie grinning at the camera.
Then the screen says "We're all Derby aren't we? Season Tickets for sale 10th June 2022"

He is a pensioner, he played in an age where even top footballers didn't earn much so he is probably earning a bit to help get by. He wouldn't have been a postman for years if playing football had left him wealthy. Pisses me off that there are players today making millions who are not fit to clean his boots.
