Midfielders don’t necessarily have to be centrally by the way. In my opinion we need 2 midfielders. Having Bird, Hourihane, Thommo, Smith and another Midfielder is good going. Having 2, especially with the way injuries have gone against us already this season is welcomed. Midfielder in either tomorrow or Monday. Loan from a Premier League club. With the Fornah rumours pretty safe to say it could be him. Potentially another 2 in before Saturday

To be fair, Rooney is now first choice right back. 2 Injuries to Centre half’s and you’re into the academy. Similarly in midfield and wide
