  1. Exciting as he is I don't think he is premier league ready yet. Let alone top-half. I don't mind that he's gone but he will likely rot on a bench at palace or be loaned out year on year and never settle. Just seems a shame to me. He could have ripped up league 1 and gained a reputation.

  2. What a lad. I wouldn't have slated him if he left but to stick and wait for us..? Unreal considering our off season. He could have jumped ship to somewhere more secure but he stuck with. These are the kind of people we need now more than ever.

Liam. If you are reading this. Cheers!

Edit: Goes for all the lads obviously but I was so happy to see this.

We have a squad full of players breaking their backs to keep us in the Championship and we need to glibly list those we would let go to keep ourselves amused?

Although I agree with your sentiment I think the thread was made because of our grim reality, not just to "keep us amused" Unfortunately administration gives us fewer choices. We took two of wigans players when they were in our position and it is likely it could happen to us.

The question is more who would you be prepared to lose  vs who you couldn't do without.  (And that's not even our choice if we don't hear updates soon)

Rooney is performing terrific with what he has and the players are playing out of their skin and doing the badge proud. However Rooney himself has said he needs to be able to contract people at the very least. It's in Quantuma's hands.

Edit: And they don't know the definition of imminently.

He sold one of his company's and it came upto 7b mate and it was confirmed by efl mate.

As much as I always thrive on your positivity B4, Chris himself said he isn't a billionaire. Perhaps your confused with the tepper link?

I'm hopeful but we have to be realistic and no amount of fan fundraising will get us out of this. We need responsible ownership and soon.

Keep doing you though. You are DCFC's soul my guy and I ducking love it.

  5. I was happy with the price we paid for Bielik. A player of that quality could have gone for 2-3 times that by the end of his contract. Unfortunately 2 serious injuries have hampered that.

On an outside thought, had he been fully fit and we sold him last summer would we be where we are? (Admin)

  6. Gone from a promise to bankroll the club as necessary, to administration, to not paying the players. We are going to break Lutons 30 point deduction record a this rate.

I dont hold much respect for a tabloid article but I've been wrong on Mel so much I don't know what to think.

At least cover your bills Mel. How many times are the fans and Rooney going to get spat on?

    Must be COVID ..

Well guys I say we keep behind the lads and show them our love but towards the efl we need to show them our anger at them. It is bad enough that dragged our good name through the mud. But even worse they kepted money that could well have needed so mel could pay back money we owe to people.

Well time is now to fight for our club and if efl think this is over by the fans they very very very sadly wrong.

I alway love reading your posts B4. You are a true Ram black and white. Unfortunately Mel has let this great club down. That said the club will need fans like you. You are a greater asset to this club than the owners at this point.

Keep supporting mate. The club definitely needs it right now.

I understand that tonight many questions will be asked, both of the club and myself.

Tonight as the news was broke, I was sat in the pub, still am, it's hit me hard as I'm sure it has you all, I was not expecting it, there was no pre warning, no hint of what was to come.

I also understand that over the years my opinion has been questioned, it's something I have had to deal with, sometimes poorly, but with the best and honest of intentions.

Tonight I am hurting, just as much as you all, this is the club I love, the club I adore, the club I have tattooed on my hand for all to see with pride.

I love this club, please just think when posting over the next few days, weeks in anger, myself, the moderators, we do not deserve to be on the end of your anger or frustration.

Today is a dark day for the club, but as fans, we need to to stick together. We are Derby County, every one of us and we will move forward as one.

    Once a ram, always a ram ?

You are a fan same as all of us and anyone directing anger towards you or any mods are idiots.

Never dull as a DCFC fan eh?

We don't need demonstrations at any games.

Now is the time to show the football world that Derby County have one of the best fan bases in the country. Loud and proud boys and girls all game tomorrow.

Let's show any possible buyers that they have a great club to come into, not a toxic one.

It'll most likely happen but hopefully the poo hits the fan in the right direction. Owner and CEO to blame. Any prospective owners will know why it is happening and the players/staff should know it not them. I hate it and we should make at least a bit of ruckus.
