Corner flag makes an announcement…
The new owner wearing the next home kit.
Flanked by 20 new signings.
Mel stood at the back smoking a big phat Cuban cigar.

w8sey reacted to Leeds Ram in Could we defy the odds next season.
The team in its current form wouldn't make the league 1 playoffs let alone the championship ones. The club is currently without a fully fit recognised centre back and has one 35 year old senior forward who is inconsistent at best. Added to that the only place we're not really without depth is arguably the goalkeeper positions (maybe fullback too) with everywhere else needing bodies in for either extra depth, quality, or both. Major rebuilds don't have to cost big money to be successful but our recruiting over the past few years has been unimaginative and let's be honest pretty crap.
If we had no restrictions on who we could bring in and maybe you could have a case to be hopeful for a successful season even if it was looking very unlikely but we're in the midst of a potential takeover and still have to refile our accounts to break the embargo. Given all of this is happening with 5 weeks to go before the start of the season then I think any hope of the playoffs needs to be put in the bin. If we survive this season (depending who we bring in) we'll be doing well i think but I think unless something changes drastically we're heading for the drop.

w8sey reacted to Rev in Rooney to Consider Quitting
I'd be surprised to see Rooney walk.
He always looks to me like he'd me more comfortable on all fours.

w8sey got a reaction from RadioactiveWaste in Colin Kazim-Richards Fan Club
If Monday morning was a forum post this would be it.
Isn't this the kaziiiim fan club topic?
Anyway, I must say that kazim has been immense in every way since he started playing under Wayne. Player of the season for me.

Sitting in my dressing gown, refreshing my Twitter feed. Not what I dreamt I’d be doing at the ripe age of 30 but you know

w8sey got a reaction from jimbo jones in Teden Mengi - signed on loan until the end of the season
Rooney said he only wants to bring in people who improve us. I can see him coming in for Wisdom at some point. Wisdom has been good lately but still worries the hell out of me at times!

Because perhaps he's better than evans... and Millwall might have guaranteed him playing time..
Say he joined again next season and we went up. That may allow us the funds for a permanent deal.

Hopefully if he does well it could lead to a full season loan next year too

w8sey reacted to Macintosh in Serdar Dursun
If he does sign and that is our business done for this season, maybe a loan or two on transfer deadline day, I hope many fans reflect on the business done since Cocu's arrival, the pond he fishes in. Remembering that Rooney and Bielik were already done deals before he arrived. Mike te Wierik, free, David Marshall, free, Jordon Ibe, free, Bobby Duncan, not much, Nathan Byrne, not much either, Kamil Jóźwiak £3m? Maybe £5m the lot of them with Dursun added. All of that lot adds up to a Waghorn, a Marriott, a Wisdom, a Davies, a Lawrence, and probably the medical bills for Forsyth.
In a week or so's time the side he puts out will be his team, the staff he wants out there, supplemented by the youngsters rather than making up half the side nearly every week.
