Ben Wiles from Huddersfield - was a key midfielder at Rotherham under warne. Since signing from Rotherham last summer move doesn't appear to have worked out, especially since change of manager where now only getting on as a sub. If Huddersfield go down may be willing sell and cut their losses.

Like all derby fans I have a soft spot for Sibley.
Whats not to like. He's one of our own, a Derby fan who burst onto the scene from the academy, with a stunning goal against Blackburn, followed up with a hatrick against at Millwall in the next game .
Problem is 4 years on, he rarely hits those heights, with his only consistent run of form being when he plays at full back.
Yes, he might not have had a long run in the team in his favoured position. Problem is football is a ruthless game, and when he has had a chance he is usually so anonymous, that its no surprise when he does gets subbed/dropped.
Whilst we all want Sibley to be a success and possibly he might not have had the chance some believe he deserves, I would question whether now is the right time to persist with Sibley, when there are more reliable options available to us in the promotion run in.
Going back to those games against Blackburn and Millwall, even they weren't proof of consistency, as there was a 4 month gap between them thanks to COVID.

Whilst you're no doubt correct about the set up, I think the suspicion is that Paul Warnes list of "jolly good chap" characteristics is a) quite long and b) restrictive so we end up pursuing few alternatives.
We seemed to be spending a long time chasing one or two names. Lee Gregory was one repeatedly mentioned.
With all the factors you've listed, we probably need a shortlist of 4-5 but only ever appear to have 1-2. Perhaps Warne needs to be a bit less choosy?
Just because Gregory and Smith were the only names that got into the press does not mean they were the our only to targets.
Who knew about Leonard until it was confirmed over weekend . Same applies to CBT last summer, or signing of TJJ or Ward
Fact is we run a tight ship regards transfers so have no idea who we are interested
Add in fact that still working with EFL restrictions with very limited transfer pots would suggest Warne (and club) ain't doing as bad as suggested

If Collins is out for a while who would be better out of Weston or Wheeldon to step up from the academy
Also any idea if Brown has a recall in the loan to Gateshead and when this applies from
-
Whilst 442 Warne has played last couple of games carries more of an attacking threat, would prefer to go back to 433 as think extra midfielder gives us control over game
-
Good player, although after recall from Vale, Wilder said they wouldn't be looking at another league one loan

Would imagine Sibley is ok with Warne as he gets more game time than previous managers he played under.
Also looks like Sibley listens to Warne as it's under his coaching that Sibley finally cut out all the stupid bookings, which made him a liability to other managers

for the anti Warner brigade Nyambe was one of Rosies targets last year before he went to Wigan

Might be the first journalist to say we are interested in JCH but think Whitcoop is as ITK as Barry, as don't recall him ever being right about any of our signings
Apart from Big Trav, and even his info appears to be drying up, Warne and Clowes are running a very tight ship in terms of our targets.

Pompey signed Regan Poole, ex Lincoln centre half. Making some some good signings and likely to be challenging with us

Was he b*******. Also not a formal industrial tribunal.
Think you need to get your facts right.
Whilst Keogh's appeal to the EFL failed, his appeal to industrial tribunal succeeded.
Basically a passenger of a car was sacked whilst his colleagues who were convicted of drunk driving weren't.
Difference between them was they had a resale value but Keogh didn't.
So we treated him like cattle and got rid.

Have we treated people like cattle. ? We've spent years paying players a wage far above their ability level while they're sat on there arse getting splinters for 48 months. Then the academy at an annual 6 million cost, has had two years of being used like a training centre for unruly race horses who need to be improved, before they head of to the delights of Udinese, Hull and Belgium for nowt.
Keogh, was treated very shoddily, which was proven at tribunal.

Would only bring Shinnie back as a replacement for knight.
Korey Smith is a better defensive midfielder who'll hopefully be relieved of his duties playing right full back, as soon as we bring in someone to play that position
-
Think Warne definitely does see something in him as looks like hes willing to persevere with him as a FB/WB which is possibly the key position in all of his teams.
Whilst might not be in the role most of us expected, he finally playing regularly which is key for his development.
One big improvement is his game is his discipline. In past you always knew he'd react to a foul which saw teams target him like at Florest last year. Whilst earlier in the season there were signs that nothing had changed, since Warne arrived he seems to have adopted much calmer approach, which was one of the key areas he needed to improve.

If Callum Patterson available might be worth a look
Can play right full back or as a back up striker who usually scores against us.
Also only 27 and not in Wednesdays plans, so more likely they would be looking to get rid
- Thameram and Ram@Lincoln

Will Wednesday release on a free transfer - UNLIKELY
Would Wednesday sanction a transfer to a promotion rival - UNLIKELY
Is a Sheffield lad who supports Wednesday, who is a regular starter and last year's top goal scorer wanting a move to a team in same division on similar money - UNLIKELY
Then again Chansarai is a bit erratic so he'll have signed for us on Thursday

Kemar Roofe anyone?
Swopping one crock for another sounds like Derby Way

If he is on £25k per week, and our max is £8k, there will be plenty in the championship who'll contribute more
Looks like his agent is letting clubs know he's available

Mirror suggesting Liam wants job permanent basis and suggesting we intend to proceed with 10 signings Rooney had lined up
Bit of a rehash of old rumours about houriane and barkhuisen, but does add James Chester to the mix

Last time in championship, in a team that was relegated, he scored 12 goals in 2999 miniutes, which isn't that bad a record.
The guy thrives on crosses and has previously played for Warne. On a free think this is someone we should definitely be looking at.
