There’s just no identity, I don’t get what we are. We work hard and have better players than almost everyone else.

Just a reminder. Paul Warne also has a 100% record of being relegated from the championship at every attempt

DCFC Kicks reacted to Chris_Martin in Poor substitution
wilson is too attacking and not solid enough defensively to be classed as a standard RB.
best position is either winger or wing back in my opinion

Wilson isn't a right back, he's a wing back

DCFC Kicks reacted to Fuertes’s Passport in Poor substitution
Absolutely. More idiocy from a truly inept tactician. Rancid football - predictable and ponderous in attack . All the clapping the fans and trying to become the next Ian Holloway with media friendly antics cannot hide the fact that he is a truly terrible coach . We should wipe out Shrewsbury ( themselves an appalling team ) with the players at his disposal .What does he actually do all week ?

DCFC Kicks got a reaction from MickD in James Collins
I would agree apart from the fact we don't have another striker currently. I've always thought Waghorn was better when he was available.
I do think you're harsh on Collins. He's just doing what the manager instructs to the best of his ability, and he's doing well in that regard. He's doing good overall.

DCFC Kicks got a reaction from Crewton in Serial Whingers Notts Forest playtime, which we simply cannot accept.
They've just got rid of Worrall. Do they have any home grown players left anymore?
I hardly even know any of their players anymore. Its like they've just turned into a conveyor belt of mercenaries.

DCFC Kicks reacted to Caerphilly Ram in James Collins
I do agree, but again in a squad of many and a side of 11 players on the pitch there’s normally a reason that player has been given the responsibility for penalties. I just don’t buy that because someone takes and scores penalties that should somehow be dismissed as part of their skill set and ability, or looked down upon which is the tone of certain posts.
James Collins has scored a number of important goals in our season so far, does a lot of work off the ball, does a lot of work defensively, and in my opinion doesn’t deserve the sneering of certain fans or posters. He’s a player, with a ram on his shirt giving his all for the team and to earn his bread, I don’t get what’s not to like, but that’s my opinion and others of course are welcome to theirs.
As some have said, this has turned into a pointless back and forth where clearly no party is going to budge their view so I respect the views of you and @Chris_Martin and disagree with them. 🍻

Yes, a penalty is worth the same as any other goal, I never said otherwise. Do you not agree the player who is on penalties generally gets more goals as a result? If Hourihane was on pens he would be on more goals this season and Collins on less. That's all I'm saying.

I never said it was easy. I'm confident Nelson would have scored at least one. Therefore his goal tally would be up as a result of being on pens.

Its not about how important penalties are. Of course they're important. The point is - the player who is on penalties gets an advantage over other players in terms of their goal tally for the season. Why is that so hard to understand?
-
DCFC Kicks got a reaction from Chris_Martin in James Collins
Every clubs penalty taker has their stats inflated - this is just a fact. Obviously they still have to put them away so its wrong to remove them entirely like @Chris_Martin is suggesting. It is true however that they shouldn't be regarded as highly as a goal from open play.

Just use your common sense. Obviously the penalty taker gets a bit of an advantage in goal scoring terms than other players, that's all I'm saying.
If Nelson was on penalties for some reason his goal record would be up. Of course he'd probably miss more than Collins but still.

Depends. Players get lucky goals now and then, but what if the tap in was a result of excellent movement?
The thing about a penalty taker is - they might not even be involved in the winning of the penalty at all, but still get the goal at the end.

DCFC Kicks reacted to ripleyram88 in Max Bird - flew the coop to Bristol City, loaned to us to end of season
Don't know why people are having a go at birdy, his style of play is the antithesis of Warne's. Whilst he's the manager at the club we are going to continue to see proper footballers leave and be replaced by cloggers.

DCFC Kicks reacted to S8TY in No midfield control again…
Sorry I keep disagreeing with you but this is not correct in my opinion
When we had to reset as a club I thought we'd build something and find gems from lower leagues and use the youngsters with our financial restraints I would've been defending us if I saw progress because that takes time maybe a couple of seasons any club is well capable of moulding a young ish side with a few older heads in key positions to be able to hit the ground running if they reach the championship , a lot of clubs in fact go straight from L1 and through championship in 1 or 2 seasons into the prem such is there momentum and fact they've built something sustainable , in our current situation or the situation we were in a young forward thinking coach/manager may have seen DCFC as an opportunity to create something I don't think L1 is particularly strong and the fact we do have good players I'd had liked to see us go a different route i guess...just my opinion ...its not a dig just don't like how we don't really seem to be building anything
