£1.75mil to £2 mil is a fair price for someone with only 1 year left. If there’s a sell on % then all the better.

This will also be a boost to P&S figures down the line. Also it will hopefully allow funds to be used on a forward that we may not have hat the money for without this income.

    Good luck Jason

good point regarding the sell on %. we might get £2 mill via tribunal if we kept this year and he ran down his contract. but at least now, if we do sell him we have a little bit to of bargaining power

Jewell was allowed to spend £3.5m but brought in £2.25m in trying to retrieve the hopeless situation. Davies had spent £11.5 m bringing in Earnshaw, Claude Davis, Mears, Todd, Feilhaber and Miller. He recouped £350k by selling Ryan Smith and Lee Camp.

Here are all of the transactions. It tells a sorry tale but how you can seek to defend Davies and lay it at Jewell's door is beyond me.

Not looked who has and hasn't been mentioned... but out of contracts we could go for:

Chiedozie Ogbene - 26 years old, winger/striker from Rotherham who scored a lot under Warne

Will Keane - 30 years old, striker from Wigan, scored 12 goals in the Championship, done well in League one

Ben Osborn - 28 years old... worth a suggestion as a Derby lad

Callum Connolly - 25 years old, defensive midfielder, 41 games for Blackpool this year

Ronan Curtis - 27 years old, Portsmouth left winger

Cameron Brannagan - 27 years old, Oxford central midfielder

ben osborn is only 28? seems to have been round for ages. good shout tho.

brannagan from oxford has signed an extension
