Thats ok going to Stoke and Leicester for the younger fans, but for older fans and young children it will be a no go. They will lose a lot of fans if that happens, me included after 55 years i am sorry to say. 

And Everton winning - much as i’d find it highly amusing if Frank and his new besties get relegated, Leeds going down would be so much sweeter…

Play home games on the Racecourse. Everyone brings a deckchair to get around the all seater rules and a packed lunch to make up for the lack of catering facilities. Easily 30,000 capacity, job done ?

People keep saying that yet there are a few key points that counter the argument:
1. It’s not his style to pay the asking price for businesses that he takes over
 2. He clearly didn’t think that the original price reflected the actual value left in the club - and much as I hate to say it, he’d be right. Without the stadium, the club is worth very little - certainly a lot less than the amount CK has offered. 

3. if he is looking to buy us, then it’s likely he’s thinking of a 10+ year plan to get us up the Leagues and sell us for a tidy profit - in that type of scenario, picking us up as cheaply as possible and accepting whatever penalties apply would make sense….

I was really hopeful that the meeting might move things in the right direction but reports of the impasse show that’s not the case - I’m pretty much done now. Almost 40 years as a season ticket holder and I’ve never felt so low about the future of our club….
Morris seems to be happy to let the club die rather than help us move forward. Without a very quick resolution, the majority of players will leave as they have to protect themselves and their future careers and in that case, I’d rather the admins pulled the plug now and Morris was left with nothing other than a few big loans he has to repay and a stadium he can’t sell. Bring on the Phoenix club and duck Mel Morris….

Agreed - don’t think I could go to another ground and feel I was watching my team. After 25 years sitting in the same seat I can’t even move one seat to either side without feeling something’s not quite right - one or more seasons would be horrible. And that’s without having to go to somewhere like Stoke on a regular basis - urghhhh…..
If we end up ground sharing I’m pretty much done with professional football (at least until the Rams come back to the city) -and that’s assuming I haven’t gained a liking for following Mickleover by then…

Ahh, Kevin. Remind me how many months ago it was that you were so adamant that Morris could not, and would not, have any influence on proceedings?

Wow. Chris is certainly racking up the “Air miles”. Hope it’s not long before he and his lawyers get a look at what’s been going on inside the club. I think there will be a few shocks to come out soon.
