Perhaps Mel should come out and explain why the stadium is holding up the takeover then, despite him promising it would not?

I’m becoming more and more convinced that Mel would rather see us liquidated than damage his fragile ego by taking a lower bid from the council. We’re in real real danger I’m afraid. The council have the money. Mel just won’t agree to it.

True, but Mel certainly could have stopped it blocking the takeover. Doesn’t change the fact Gibson is also scum, of course 

And yet who could have sorted that out earlier? Mel. 
Not to belittle the impact that parasite Gibson has had on this mess of course. But Mel sorted it pretty quickly when he talked to Gibson. If he’d have done that earlier, maybe we wouldn’t be where we are now. And, ironically, he might have got his full 20m for the ground. But no, his ego prevented him from doing it.
