I was advised today by South Staffs water that my identity details held by them were stolen back in August. Today I spent several hours adding extra security markers to my bank accounts, Credit reference agencies and the UK antifraud scheme.

Total pain and a small cost that I shouldn't have to go through.

So far I'm O.K, but if you are a SSW customer I suggest you contact them asap. SSW covers Findern, Burton and other villages to SW

Sorry to hear that, a complete pain to deal with and none of it your fault. Sounds like you have taken all the correct action. Expect lots of scam calls about problems with your microsoft computer and unauthorised activity on your bank account.

    Quite a good discussion here:

If there's agreement between Derby and Rotherham then what's the problem - isn't that how the vast majority of transfers happen?

Agree no problem at all but the OP was setting up Warne as a man of high morals and dignified behaviour. How does Warne leaving before the end of his current contract demonstrate he is a man of high morals and dignity? It is fair enough but I can't argue high morals and dignity off the back of that.

I didn't say anything about his contract.

If Derby have asked Rotherham's permission to speak to him which I'm sure we would have done, no rules have been broken.

I'm not 100% sure where you're going with this.

It is your comments about Warne being a paragon of morals and dignity that I have doubts about.... in light of him walking away from Rotherham. I agree, no rules broken but morals and dignity I don't see Warne's actions as supporting those behaviours.

anyone holding that last day of the season interview against him needs to get their head out their asre

early indications and from a Rotherham perspective he is man of morals and dignity. in that split second, whilst upset about his own teams fortunes, of being asked he probably believed we stayed up due to Mel Morris' immoral ways and bending of the rules. can anyone really disagree with him?

So are you saying Warne isn't currently under contract at Rotherham and free to take another job as he wishes?

Whilst they probably have the smallest budget in the Championship…

I think it’s more comparable to look at what his away record was with Rotherham last year, which was 3rd best in the league with 42 points.

If we got 42 points away from home this season then I’d be fairly confident we would be promoted as our home form isn’t a problem.

    Agree with you on this.

But if Warne doesn't start getting the away form sorted then questions should be asked.

    Different League mate .

League 1 is lower standard .

Warne also lost loads of players like Derby

Are you really trying to push an argument that Warne has faced challenges at Rotherham this season that are similar to those faced by Liam at Derby. I doubt Warne had a squad of 5 players on 1st July.

Rotherham's away form this season is only marginally better than Derby's and yet an argument is being made that it is right to replace Liam as our away form isn't good enough. If poor away form is the problem then Warne doesn't seem the obvious answer.

Not a metal fan generally but some stuff I can relate to.

What I really want to know, what do people see in Def Leppard?  I'm sure they can play their instruments to a high standard but what they play is terrible, at least from when I remember when they became popular back in the day.

Never understood it, but then I never understood the appeal of Meat Loaf either.

Apologies as you may already know this but their first two albums are very different to what followed. If your dislike is based on Hysteria onwards then it is worth checking out On through the night and High and Dry.... they weren't as accomplished as musicians and the songs are much rawer but it is preferable to what they became.

Scorpions at rock n blues was first gig i ever went to. Michael schenker was supporting and he was horrendous. Black stone cherry are brilliant but since they did the blues and cover album theyve gone downhill abit. Clutch are an incredible band. Really weird but brill ?

Seen Schenker a number of times in both UFO and solo and his performance can be extremely variable depending on his 'state'. He seems to have got himself well sorted over recent years and the last few times I have seen him he has been outstanding. If you get another chance I would go and see him, even better if he gets Ronnie Romero out of the band!

Accounts were due to be submitted by 31/01/22.
This deadline was then extended with "2-3 days" quoted... a week ago.

The EFL's embargo page hasn't been updated, so these couldn't have been submitted yet. Why not?

From DerbyshireLive interview with Admin on Friday - hopefully correct!

    Q) There were some accounts due at the end of January. Did they get submitted. If not is there a worry there could be more points penalties?

We have liaised constantly with the EFL, they have graciously given us an extension. They will be filed within that extension period.
