May well be true, I think most of us would have brought the club and ground if we had won that Euro lottery of £180 million a few weeks back but we would have needed to get divorced first which would have delayed our takeovers ?

in any case, Delia Smith and Michael Wynn-Jones have a wealth less than a sixth of the Clowes family and they have run Norwich pretty well for the last 25 years.

I'll welcome Ashley if he gets the club but f*** me, he's annoying!
I'm sick to death of his game playing, he's clearly an intelligent business man so surely he understands that just continually telling everyone that he has £50m 'waiting' to complete the takeover, does not get the job done. He is a multi-billionaire so of course he has that kind of money sitting about, but unless he puts that down on the table he just looks like a buffer.
If he wants to buy the club, and if he wants it in anything other than a desolate state, walk into Quantumas office tomorrow, slap £10m on the table and tell them that they can have the other £40m next week if they just give him the go ahead.
OK that's over simplified but my point is, IF YOU WANT THE f****** CLUB, JUST BUY IT!

So much fault connected with all of this:
Obviously Mel for how he ran the club; Steve Gibson pursuing his personal vendetta to have us liquidated; The EFL, firstly for pursuing the club without cause (except to keep Gibson off their back and because of their own vendetta, likely due to their ongoing battles with Morris) when they should simply have accepted we'd found a financial alternative they didn't like and closed it for future seasons, and secondly for acquiescing to Gibson's pursuit of the club making a pre-February sale impossible; But then there's Quantuma. Everything about Trevor Birch's formal response tells me the administrators are incompetent and out of their depth and, unless something dramatic happens, their incompetence will see us thrown out of the league. This is clearly very serious and it really doesn't look as if the people at Quantuma have the necessary skills to bring things to a satisfactory conclusion.

"Former Wolves owner Steve Morgan and ex-Derby chairman Andy Appleby are considering a joint bid to buy the Rams out of administration and save them from liquidation.
...Morgan and Appleby have been put together by ex-Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey. He has been involved in American Appleby’s bid to buy Derby and knows Morgan well from their days working together at Molineux.
...It is hoped that a deal to take Derby out of administration will be struck before Thursday, when the 2022-23 EFL fixtures are released, although EFL sources say no deadline has been set and that interested parties will be given time to conclude a deal beyond that date."

Morgan is just about to buy us but then has a complete breakdown and burns all his wealth on a massive herd of Alpaca, throws his phone and laptop in the sea and retires to a remote Scottish island to live in a hut with nothing but a million new woolly friends for company.
