Massive game. The first game all season I think the pressure is on us. Let’s see how we fare. Now things off the field are seemingly coming together we need to get some wins in the bag and can’t afford to not beat teams around us
-
People need to get off their arses. I can understand work commitments etc but for the people that don’t go to matches and moan about the efl, Gibson etc it’s a joke! I can understand people not being about to afford to go but that’s why we need to set up some funding month by month to pay for tickets for people that can’t afford it. I’ve seen more talk about/promotion about the Middlesbrough beam back than the next game which is in two days time and is very winnable!
-
Any crowdfunding fir this game as we need to make it as full as possible. Heard a lot of non Derby fans saying we only filled the ground last week because we thought it was our last game. Need to prove them wrong and put more money back into the club to keep us going until the end of the season
-
Can we do this go fund me for the rest of the season. For travel, match tickets, food etc for people that can’t afford to go. Gets the attendance up and atmosphere for remaining games. If we last that long of course

The 6 pointers are massive. Barnsley, Peterborough, Cardiff. Definitely need to be winning these games

The space that Morrison finds himself in is second to none. I don’t remember the last player we had that was this willing to find some space and get on the ball wherever he can. Dictating the game here ?
Hopefully he’ll be like mount was for us. Links up the play. Obviously not on the same level but a player with similar attributes

We’re already trying to stay up which we all know is the expectation or hope. Judt hope we do it without any overpaid or big time Charlie’s

Did well to shuffle it to shoot. Most would have shot first time because they wouldn’t be capable of what he did. Was unlucky

I’d imagine a fair few Derby supporters will have lost interest.
I mean, what is there to be excited about this season? Some supporters will go to games regardless, as an escape from their daily lives or a chance to see friends. Others will look at the situation and with personal finances tight think they will give it a miss for a year.
I re-joined the forum as I missed talking about Derby as a general fan. I’ll pay my £300 Ramtv subscription for the year.
But I don’t feel a buzz watching this team at all. It’s going to be a tough watch over the next few months. Those that continue to spend their hard-earned money, travel all over to watch Derby this season (especially in the colder winter months) knowing it’s largely going to be a struggle deserve a round of applause.
Morons more like ?

Great from the young lads. Catt complain. Think cashin would have won more in the air but we couldn’t play him obviously

This embargo and losing these players for free could be a blessing. Let’s get back to signing players that are hungry and have the desire to fight for this club. We’ve not done that much since Nigel clough. Martin, barker, keohh, Bryson, Russel, Lee grant (2 time) this could be a massive turning point for our club and a positive one.

Kevin Poole? Player obviously, not coach!

That’s a right dog poo squad even for league one standards. We’re in massive trouble

We’ll need a new manager next season either way. We have a very inexperienced squad and have plenty more players out of contract. It’s a massive task who ever is in charge next season and whichever league were in. I personally think we’ll be battling relegation whether it be in league one or the championship so an old head is definitely needed

agree with all that but you have forgotten that we are poo
Totally agree. I’m wishing more than expecting

Forest have played well and been unlucky. Been professional and now it’s up to us. If we win today I think we’ll stay up. We’ve got a good chance as I think Swansea might have their mind on the play offs

He's only had 2 starts since Birmingham - Sheff Weds the game after Brum, and Cardiff when he was thrown in along with others lacking match fitness. Just 136 minutes of football in the first team since New Years Day, so it's not surprising that he's lacking sharpness when wanting to take a man or to try a shot from range.
Exactly. Confidence is gained from getting minutes/games. But the only way he can do that is by knuckling down which I’m sure he is. He’s still only young. Hopefully he’ll get more of a chance next season.

He played well against birmingham. But that’s the last time I can remember. Definitely a quality player. All Rooney I’d saying is he needs to be more consistent as there is definitely a quality player in there. It’s difficult playing his position at the moment as we’re not a very creative side. I’m sure he’ll have some good games/moments in games before the seasons needed if he works himself back into Rooneys team.

If we had to sell one academy product in the summer. Obviously one that we’d get decent money for and realistically someone would want I’d rather sell sibley than knight or Buchanan. I do rate sibley but the other two are performing well and playing week in week out.

He’s been good this season. The amount of times he and kaz have come on also to make an impact which they did when asked upon. His talent is unreal and now he’s getting a good run in a season for the second time in his career. Just sometimes needs to see the simpler pass which a player like John eustace would. But how many times would John eustace be key in pulling a two goal deficit back or running a game like that?
