And finally Derby’s Daj Brown scores the winning penalty in the shoot out .

I’m still hoping that 32 year olds still grow to be fair…
On a serious note lads don’t stop growing until they’re about 21 right? Plenty of years to grow.

The forum equivalent of ‘I have a girlfriend but she doesn’t go to this school and you won’t know her’.

I could see Jack Thompson maybe getting into the under 23s, but surely first choice in the first team is unrealistic. I've never watched the u23's or u18's live, so I have no opinion on how good he is, but surely a 17 year old could be playing for the under 23s if they were good enough?
I don't particularly want to see Wildsmith go, but this is a bi-product of prudent housekeeping. It was obvious in January that there was a good chance he would leave, as soon as he didn't sign a new contract. The only way this could be bad for the club would be if for instance Wildsmith wanted £12k per week, which we refuse to pay, then end up paying £14k to someone else that is no better in goals. I really can't see that being the case though. I think we'll end up with someone who is as good as Wildsmith, if not a bit better at least in terms of distribution and decision making.
Joe Wildsmith moves on with my thanks for his large contribution to a great season. All the best and good luck for next season (unless you're playing the Rams of course).

Thompson has been 1st choice for the U21s since before Christmas. Arguably man of the match most games too.
I would expect at least a full season on loan in L1 before being a regular for our first team, with maybe a half season in L1/2 before that.

Fine. Good. Never wanted him anyway.
(Can you imagine choosing to go to Rotherham so you can work with Steve Evans?)

Fair play to Carlisle. 9th on the list is a great achievement considering where they are geographically and in the table.

S6 boy reacted to CBX1985 in 24/25 Sky TV Coverage
You offer a bundle which includes: SKY Sports but also crucially Sky Broadband, Sky home insurance, Sky mobile etc, and the base TV package (which is Sky TVs greatest driver of profit) The sport element has made a loss for Sky every year in it's history, but by bundling lots of other things in to the package the sports budget (and formally, but less so now Movies) becomes negligible overall but it drives all the other subs. Few people subscribe without wanting Sport or Movies.
What they are doing here is trying to get a percentage of the EFL fan market to subscribe. The individual matches will make eye watering losses but are designed to drive enough people to subscribe to enough "extras" to make it worth it. You need lots of add on products to make this model work, which is what makes the numbers appear uneconomic and yet they are highly successful.

It's the right arm that really interests me. What, I wonder, does "Love Uphill" mean?
I put the phrase into Google, and the overwhelming result was, er, this image :

What a club!
And to think there were people on here claiming that our 22/23 attendances would dwindle in L1 and/or would dwindle in 23/24 if Warne remained in charge... 😂🤦♂️
Some people really don't know this club or these fans.
