Appallingly cringeworthy & meaningless job titles/roles.
Ones I've seen recently on LinkedIn:
Opinion Leader. Thought Leader. Brand Defender Accounting Ninja Frangipan Tuddlemerkin Influencer. Changemaker. *I made one of those up. Only one, mind.

People who expect their point to be taken seriously on a public forum, yet insist on using wot instead of what, etc.
Genuine spelling mistakes I can live with, but to not even be arsed to type 1 or 2 extra characters when you wish to express yourself means I'll never take your point seriously. 
It's probs just me who has this problem, obvs.

People criticising a school they didn't go to, with spelling and grammatical errors.
Reading some of the comments on the telegraph.
"I wouldnt never send me kids there"
"there staff are useless"
"Why go to such a school lol was always the bad school wen I lived in Derby"
"Don't sound good does it. Shud stick to his French lol"
"More interested in bums on seats. Then there staff or pupils"
If you are going to criticise a school and it's teachings make sure you are educated enough to make sure you don't look like an idiot.

Those were the good old days. 1 hour revision, 1 hour campaign mission was what I followed  . Getting Cod 4 the Christmas it was released was not a very good idea in hindsight with my exams later that school year, although I still did very well in mine so it didn't really impact it too much thankfully

I was in the hospital with my old man when my exams were taking place, he had two heart attacks and a triple heart bypass just before my exams, not great preparation.

I'm glad we didn't have the internet when I did mine. Mind you, I do remember one "revision day" when I watched the film "Clue" 4 times.

I got 1 C and a BTEC

PC games have often been modified (modded) to change the base game, usually to add/remove/replace content or make it more of a challenge. Or in Skyrim's case.. replace dragons with Thomas the Tank.
Historically, its only been PC games purely because its that much easier to get at the files and structure behind the game, whereas console games have it all locked away on a disc. However due to the popularity, and many console users asking for it, its becoming more prevalent.
Does this clear it up, oldie? 

So happy about the Skyrim news, mainly because being a console gamer, I've never had the chance to play with mods. I honestly think that Skyrim is the best game I've ever played, as the vastness of the world, the amount of quests you can do and the tendency to always surprise you no matter how long you've been playing, make it an absolutely fantastic experience. For years I've been envious of all the PC gamers with their mods, now it's time for consoles to get their turn?.

All right then ladies and gents, I've taken your advice and looked at the polls. Whilst I like the suggestions of reading the forum to unwind, the temptation to browse whilst revising would still be present, therefore I think I will get myself banned (for a month if possible). I've enjoyed my time here on the forum, I'll miss you all terribly. I hereby instruct @David, @Boycie, @Srg, @eddie and all mods and members to go **** themselves. Thanks for all the good luck messages and I'll see you in a month.

When I was taking my GCSE's it was during the 2002 World cup, saw almost every game (got to see all of England's) and I didn't revise at all, figured that either I knew it or I didn't. Didn't do too bad in my exams came out with B's and C's. But then I remember lots of pointless things.
Maybe I'm not the best to take advice from...

I get that would be more distracting, it's why I don't really get schools giving out iPads. 
I think the key is to do a couple of hours of focused revision rather than half a day where you keep getting distracted. Try to set up a timetable or something. 
Ultimately I wouldn't worry too much, I used to get distracted all the time (although more often than not it was the kind of distraction @EastHertsRam is talking about ). Also, as long as you feel confident, don't do too much "last minute" revision, it's much more helpful to have a regular sleep pattern and spend the time before the exam thinking about actual exam technique than stressing too much over the finer points of your notes.
