To be honest, they shouldn't even need to be put through the F&PP test. One look and the EFL should respond with "you're having a laugh aren't you?" Although if it was to buy Derby, of course, they'd just say "sign here..."

Genuinely tempted but he'll only block me for asking leading questions and I actually quite like seeing his monosyllabic, vague answers that can easily be interpreted two ways should the inference for the original post be proven wrong.  To his credit it's quite a skill.

Thanks, i have watched it over the last couple of nights, i agree, it was okay, fairly enjoyable without being outstanding.  Worth a watch.

Interesting bit at 2:40s, Dawes talking about 'blame' (in the list) says there was a group in April that approached CK and got him back to the table'. He doesn't say who they are.

TBH I don't know what to believe anymore.  His MO is to pay the least possible for the best return...usually.  But there have been so many people spouting half-truths, rumour, conjecture, opinion across here, Twitter, the press that I really have no idea what's what.  I'm probably one of the least informed on this forum with how all this shizzle works.  It's a bloody nightmare trying to pick out fact from fiction since I'd hazard 99.9% of people have absolutely no clue what's being agreed or what's going on.  I certainly don't believe anything that comes of of Qs mouth these days, absolute shower.  I'm just waiting for the official EFL / Derby statement to say "we are happy to confirm xxx is the new owner of Derby County and we look forward to seeing them compete in L1". 

Agree - after weeks and weeks of us waiting for "The Kirch" to seal the deal, I genuinely think we'll have a new owner in place by the weekend.  One thing CK's team did do is get all the ducks in a row.  Whilst appreciating there seem to be other buyers in the wings, the likes of MA, love him or hate him, specialise in this situation and have the means to come in and sort things incredibly quickly.  With so much pressure on the EFL now to get this sorted for next week's fixture release, he'll be giving them and Q assurances he WILL complete, dare I say in 48 hrs.  I suspect too he will already have everything sorted and shared in terms of business plan etc.  I've changed my mind too about him possibly being happy to start on -15. I think he'll want us as competitive as possible in order to recoup funds as early as possible and so do a deal to start on 0.  This is going to be one tense week.

Exactly my thought.  Goes back to the EFL standing back whilst Perm Boy shafted us, along with Cou-Pig.  How on earth can other clubs decide whether we stay or go.  I've said several times I wouldn't wish this on other clubs, but the way some have behaved, I might have a different view now.

Yeah knowing other clubs want us dead and don't give even the slightest thought about the area or the fans is quite horrendous. I wouldn't wish the death of any club. I have no problem with them wishing us relegated or to do badly, or hating Mel or the people who ran the club. But to hate us to the point we don't exist is horrible
