After reading the companies House update the other day that DC had 500k shares, I wounder if he may sell some off to supports to generate some income, I for one would love to buy some to put money into our club as a massive thank you, like so many other fans would possibly do.

If its true last season we could only pay 4.5k a week why not stick to around this, we want people who want to play for our famous club not journey men wanting extotionate wages as a final pay day. If they want to come they will play for that and offer them the incentive get us promoted and you get a bonus a good bonus.
I like most would love to earn 4.5k a week, and a bonus at the end of the year playing a sport we all enjoy.
It can be done as we have seen, let decent, want to play for DCFC people start coming though the door and bleed black n white all of us.

Don’t know if our new owner reads this forum but if he does I just want to say a massive thank you , I could go on to describe how I feel about derby county and what it means to know the club is not going under but there’s no point as he already knows all that , it s clear he feels it himself ,,, this is a fan that came in when the club was on its knees and in its death throws needing massive over valuation/ spend to buy and take forward not a pretend fan buying on the cusp of promotion to the big big prem money ,
will be at pp for the first game against Oxford to drink in the emotion with dc , many from this forum who have gone through this together and thousands more derby fans
    Come on derby??????

    Derby County. Saved.
    The joy, the relief.
Mine won’t be the only story like this, but after the passing of my Dad, who was a dyed-in-the-wool Ram, former steward home and away, the love for Derby County takes on another meaning. It’s a link to family - past and present - for so many, and to lose it would be heartbreaking all over again.
To see it saved means the world. And I’m celebrating with a Derbyshire whisky.
I was listening to the 'emergency' Sportscene. I shed a tear when Ed Dawes came on in tears. I fully lost it when the Punjabi Rams representative (who's name escapes me, my apologies) was talking about the laying to rest of another member (again apologies) whose proceedings mirrored my Dad's. I'm in tears again, typing this.
I really hope we as Rams never have to go through this again. I hope no fan ever has to go through this.
We have our club back. Don't EVER take it for granted.
Much love to one and all. My only regret is that I wasn't first to break the news ? I'd just got home from work, but seriously, this forum has been a haven - to know I'm not the only one who's life has been dominated by this one subject.
I can't wait for that 30th July vs. Oxford. Win, lose, or draw - it's going to be one hell of a party. Let's sell this mother out.
Peace ✌️ love ❤️ and Derby County ?

This. Exactly this. I haven’t commented at all on this but have been reading this thread every day since it started. I know the trials and tribulations we’ve been through and how this has affected us.
like NottsRam77 I thought I’d been dealing with it okay. Carrying on the day to day and all that. But hadn’t realized the extent it had actually affected me….until last night.
As the news broke the sense of relief was unbelievable for sure, but suddenly I found my eyes welling with tears. Genuine tears. Then hearing Ed Dawes on RD also in tears - live on air - it sent me completely over the edge into floods of them.

Once I’d composed myself I allowed myself a quiet glass or two and raised a toast to David Clowes and our great club.

So the great re-set has begun and with it a recalibration of our expectations. At this point I’m just happy to still have a club. And for it to be run properly. This whole episode has been a truly humbling experience for us all and one I do not wish to live through again. And one I wouldn’t wish on any fans of other clubs, in spite of some of the disgraceful attitudes from ‘followers’ of other clubs.
So if we find ourselves in a situation where we are losing 3-0 at home to a team like Forest Green Rovers on a miserable rainy Tuesday night, I’m going to give my arm a pinch and remember that things could have been very different and we may not have actually been able to witness it. And then hold on to the hope that better days will return.
Because make no mistake - those better days will come.
    UTR ????

As I reflect on the DC takeover I see it as the end of an era. An era that initially promised so much but ultimately only delivered one trip to Wembley Stadium.
The cost of this day out was enormous. It cost the good name of our club. It cost our country millions in lost tax revenue. It cost our club's suppliers money. It cost the livelihood of loyal DCFC employees. It decimated the fruits of our academy's labour. It drove a wide wedge between our club and its governing body. It damned nearly killed our club.
Was I caught up in the previous owner's bullpoo and untruths? Yes, to my great shame, I was. I believed him when he told us we were being run within our means, that we were complying with p&s or ffp. I thought he's "one of our own", he won't see any harm done to us. I was taken in by him, I was very wrong.
Thankfully that era is now over and a new one begins. I hope, as with myself, many fans have had their reality well and truly checked and had a recalibration of their expectations.
What is important is the survival of our club, our family heirloom, the love of which we shall proudly hand down to our children and grandchildren.
Thank you Mr. Clowes for giving our club, our heirloom a future.

    Amazing post buddy,
and a situation that resonates so strongly with myself too.
Pp holds (along woth the bbg) some of my happiest and strongest memories with my late dad and to lose that place to go that i can feel that bit closer to him for 90 minutes would have broken me.
to lose derby county would have been a body blow too much for me.. so mr clowes… and the 1000s of u fans that stood up to be counted in our hours of need an eternal thankyou.
now lets back them like league 1 has never seen before

I think LR will have been given the job with him possibly bringing in someone with experience into the club to help him out, giving him the chance to gain managerial experience ,someone all his team can work with, knows the lower leagues ,out of work but won’t cost much and would like the opportunity. Step forward Ian Holloway, not too much abuse please.

Thanks for the memories, did a decent job with the hand given, galvanised a county into believing the great escape could be done  however I have said to friends that I found it unacceptable to lose 9 games away on the bounce.
Nothing changed, had we have got a win and a couple of draws who knows.
Great player, motivator but manager the jury for me was still out, I know my dad is quite happy.
Someone who's out of work with a decent CV if Rosinior doesn't get.Dyche,Mowbry I just don't know who, feel for DC already, a fan who's potentially the new owner needs assistance pretty quickly to sort this mess out.

Clowes family are very wealthy and you be surprised how much Derbyshire property they own, I’m surprised they are getting involved as they have rebuffed approaches before.
I don’t think these would do a MM , built up wealth over the years and not going to waste it, would like to think someone else would be involved who has been in football and run things in a careful sustainable way, not a MM way.

Throughout the whole process Nixon has had a mole in the EFL giving him info, this time the mole hasn't leaked because of the egg on there faces of the EFL,
Dawes has found a mole and leaked what we have all been thinking for the last week, don't blame Dawes, the whole situation in our saga has been led by main stream journalists and the EFL and they need to be made accountable ?

If this is true not only does CK look a **** but the EFL and Q are a major part  in our demise, none of these should be allowed to have anything to do with football, a need for a regulator is more urgent than ever.

We have a club we can continue to follow and hopefully the good times will return in the near future, Thankyou CK

Today was the day which finally broke me, looked to my right to see an empty directors box, 20000 plus die hard fans slowly having there hearts ripped out for they club which means so much and nobody in there who wants us or gives a poo. I agree with many others we are seeing the season out to appease the EFL to make life easier for them as unfortunately I fear the club we all love will be playing its last four games before its goodbye, really hope it isn't but today is the day reality hit home.

We've done extremely poorly to throw this away but let's not pretend at half time we'd have been happy for us to make defensive subs and try and sit on one goal. Not only would it not have worked, it wouldn't have been popular
Be critical when we deserve it but be fair and be consistent ffs
