EulogyForEvolution got a reaction from TigerTedd in Season 21 - 22 survival bid statistics
Knowing us we'll beat Boro and Huddersfield and lose to Birmingham and Peterborough ?

Absolutely nothing to apologise for. Nothing at all.

EulogyForEvolution got a reaction from Indyram in Margaret Beckett on Radio Derby
I work with MPs and can say from personal experience that Margaret is fantastic. She will be doing everything she can on this.
The only problem comes in that she doesn't belong to the party of Government. The Minister for Sport should already be on this. He shouldn't need nudging. One of the biggest football clubs in the country is about to disappear because of a technicality being harshly applied by one of the sport's governing bodies. Nigel Huddlestone shouldn't be doing anything else today.

EulogyForEvolution got a reaction from Kathcairns in Urgent Question on DCFC in Parliament
It was great to see the support for the club, but there is an awful long way to go yet.
I didn't appreciate the Minister for Sport not being there for the UQ. I know how it works and he could have been there if he wanted to.
I also want to say a huge well done to everyone on this campaign. As I said before, I work in politics and things like this do not tend to happen without pressure coming from constituents. I'm working quite far away from Derby now but there have been so many emails coming into the inbox from Derby fans urging actions.
Keep it up. Let's hope the Minister gets straight on the phone to the EFL.

He can't. It's a daft rule, but once a Minister begins responding to a debate he can't tag out.
He was in a Bill Committee...which it has to be said he could have got out of to answer a UQ, as Toby Perkins pointed out.
Almost as if he doesn't have anything constructive to say...

EulogyForEvolution got a reaction from Crewton in Urgent Question on DCFC in Parliament
Margaret Beckett: "He said in his opening remarks that nobody wants to see the club go under. Well, some of us are beginning to wonder."
I want to hear something strong from the Minister on this soon. He isn't there, but he has to come out strong on it. Great to hear the contribution from Julian Knight MP, too, saying that the EFL should show decency after relying on a bailout themselves.

EulogyForEvolution got a reaction from Crewton in Urgent Question on DCFC in Parliament
Translation from the government side:
"The Minister for Sport has so far done duck all but hopefully will get around to it at some point soon."

Just to echo what some others have said, urgent questions aren't always granted. Far from it. Credit to the Speaker for selecting it.
Lindsay Hoyle is a Bolton fan, so I'm sure he understands the seriousness of the situation, especially given what has happened to his club in the last decade.
