Dare I get into this conversation? 
Greed is the catalyst that is fuelling the climate disaster. If there is an expensive option to research cleaner, greener energy, and a cheaper option to keep using polluting fossil fuels, any business trying to do the right thing is at a disadvantage. 
The same goes for ethical food production. The higher welfare methods come at a premium, but the low cost methods of intensive farming will always be a tempting, easy alternative. 
And the poor consumer, already squeezed by a very difficult economy, has the option to buy expensive or cheap. When you're buying on a budget, sometimes the affordable option is not in line with the ethical/climate friendly/"right" option. 
We are bombarded with messages telling us that we need to buy the latest TV, the latest phone, the newest games consoles. Our entire economy is built on the unending churn of wastefulness - to the point that obsolescence is built in by design in most new purchases. And lives are reduced to monotony so people feel the need to buy a dining table, a new sofa or a new summer wardrobe - the whole of the media tell us our style is no longer in, and we need to modernise, replace, spend money. It's the rat race that we all are told we need to participate in, otherwise the economy will decline and our standard of living will crash. 
The greed is by design. It's not a flaw, it's the horrific beauty of the system.

And a totally worthless slight of hand , now if us being net zero meant the U.K. would be unilaterally less affected than the rest of the planet IF there was climate crisis then I get it but consuming on the same level and getting other countries to manufacture and produce pollution and waste for us while we claim to be morally saving the planet is nothing short of a joke on the scale of wiping out communities for subsidised coal from other countries that stop being subsidised whe we can’t produce our own and selling the British public utilities companies they already owned ,
I am always astounded at peoples blindness and sadly I have to admit that watching and listening to a lot of interviews with these ext reb types I find the majority of them to be hysterical and verging on the mentally unstable

Net zero is an impossible target, especially in the timeframes mentioned politically.

Also it’s targeting the seat of government, the very people they should target if they want change , by the same token perhaps people should be protesting for some kind of vote on this net zero garbage

Well I’m sure this will surprise some on here but I’m not going to lay into them over this protest , it matters not whether I agree with they’re cause ( level of catastrophe) aims and demands , the right to protest is vital to the kind of society we want to live in and for me this falls into the category I will not be up in arms about ,very different from attacking and holding ordinary people to ransom ,wilful destruction of property and total disregard to others lives ,health and safety that they normally go in for

Better start to the season than I'd hoped for. Despite being a brand new team thrown together very quickly we are playing some nice stuff at times and creating loads of chances. Liam needs to be brave and believe in his way of playing, the worst thing he can do at the moment is listen to criticism from fans. 
Hopefully he has been around football for long enough to know that fans are generally very fickle (not having a go at any on here, its just a football thing that happens).
We have had an horrendous couple of of years and we stuck together to keep our club alive. Its now back to normal where some fans think we should win every game and have a sense of superiority over so called smaller teams. Perhaps these fans are embarrassed to draw at Fleetwood if they work with gumps? Whatever, tell them to eff off or ignore them, it doesn't matter. 
We are where we are, we are fighting to build a squad capable of getting us out of this tough division. So far, Liam seems to be doing everything right, the players have gelled far quicker than is normal and despite still getting to know each other are dominating games, working hard for each other and the gaffer.
We will not win every game, we will have to be patient, but if the team continues to create chances we will start to convert draws into wins......its not going to be easy but from what I've seen so far I believe we are on the right track.
Others have mentioned Brian Clough and Jim Smith, I was a bit young when Clough came in 1967 but I can clearly remember Jim getting grief early on before Igor arrived part way through the season we got promoted......
After all we'd been through I am a bit disappointed that a few on here are so quick to moan, but its half a dozen folks on a forum that only 5% (if that) of our fanbase uses, so nowt to worry or fall out about.
As long as we all do our best to get behind the players every match, thats the only important thing, and never forget, thats the only thing what us fans can do to actually influence results.

I don’t agree with it but true - in modern day football the captain talks the ref through the game and puts him under pressure. Bird has to learn fast.
