I've just checked him out on 'Wiki', it's scary to think that someone like him could get anywhere near another club. If I was a Blues fan, I would be extremely worried atm.
This is where the EFL are letting down clubs and fans, they should be stopping these people from passing the fit and proper test.

Whilst agreeing that promotion is very unlikely with a 15 point deduction, I disagree that relegation is a certainty. A mid table points haul would avoid relegation. I don't agree that no group of players will give 100%, there are plenty of players who are free agents, including current members of our squad, who would be over the moon to get a contract at Derby next season, playing in front of decent crowds and having top class training facilities, when the alternative is no contract anywhere.
The right manager and a supportive crowd would carry us to safety.

Rooney has shown terrific loyalty to the club and fans. He has also installed this attitude to the players. However, losing him wouldn't need to be the end of the world. Because of our circumstances, he hasn't been able to show us that he is capable of signing players and building a team. There will be other potential Derby managers out there, experienced and inexperienced, capable of turning the club round, as did Arthur Cox in the eighties.
Rooney staying and rebuilding the club, as did Cox, would be our dream. But, him staying on wouldn't guarantee anything.

    I’m frankly a little relieved.
Let’s hope there’s a buyer out there that actually sees things through.

What concerns me about CK getting his money from crypto, is that his main business success is down to a lucky punt on crypto.
MM's wealth was based on a lucky break and he has since shown to be less than astute in the running of the club.
At least the likes of MA and AA are business men with a long proven successful track record.
If I'd won the £184M on the lottery, I would have bought the club, but probably wouldn't have run it properly.

Was that because we never had social media then? We only had 2 sources of information and that was radio Derby and the telegraph.
I do remember coming away from the ground, having lost to Plymouth, thinking that, that was the end of the club.

We will have a team by the start of the season and unlike last season, we are likely have more than one injury prone striker to start the season.
Football attendances have been on the increase in recent years, across the top 5 leagues.
To expect Derby to get only average crowds for their current position, is to ignore the last 40 years of history, when Derby's average attendance has been higher than their overall league position in every season. I believe that our average attendance will be in and around the top 30 in the country not the top 56.
Live footy on TV should be interesting this coming season. How often were our attendances adversely affected last season when we were on live TV? How many people didn't buy season tickets because they didn't know when matches would be played? This coming season most of our games will be played at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon, when Man City v Spurs CAN'T be on the box.
Who is to say that lg1 football will be any less entertaining than the higher leagues, less skilled yes, but maybe more entertaining and more successful.
Season tickets have traditionally been priced to give a significant saving over individual match day prices.
You can't compare Derby with the likes of Burton. Derby are a long established top club with a strong fanbase going back decades, Burton were recently a non league club playing in front of a couple of thousand supporters and have a very  small loyal fanbase.
Your AVERAGE of 15,000 will be way off the mark

I had one last time we were in the third tier, so there's no reason not to renew for this coming season. At the end of the day, it's just another game of football, whether it's the fancy dans of the Premier league throwing themselves all over the pitch or the hard graft of the league one.
Last time we were down there, we were the only big club, this time it'll be a little different with the likes of Sheff Wed, Ipswich, etc, being there also.

You were one of the many who underrated Carsley then, I think that over the last few years we could have done with a 'Lee Carsley' or a 'Darryl Powell'. Two key players who did the grafting, allowing flair players more time to do their stuff.
