Oh, I hear you mate, and I know where you're coming from (No, not Eccles, yer pillock!) but I can't help wondering if he might be arranging "The best way to go up", in a perfect scenario kind of way.
When you're as confident in the positives as what B4 was, I wouldn't put it past him!  😉
 
... and besides... You can't deny that glorious rainbow arch finale wouldn't be the icing on the cake for the lad.  I think we'd all be beaming for him... or WITH him, more like!  😁

Went to RamsTv full 90 & ffwd’ed to 38 minutes when Collo crossed from the left which flew high & wide & a lovely tribute from fans and @Owen87ITK “…a minute’s applause for Daniel Beavis who passed away …known affectionately online as B4 …& you will never meet another more infectiously enthusiastic Derby County supporter, travelled home & away to watch his beloved team & will be sorely misssed by friends & family …& this is a lovely tribute…” <crescendoes of applause & camera pans around showing fans applauding >. Very moving and will live in our memories forever. 🥲

I have never posted on here despite joining the forum a few years ago, I do view it all the time though. I never met B4 (Daniel) but his passing really upset me on Saturday and I had to leave it until now to finally comment. The way he absolutely loved DCFC always shone through in his often rallying positive posts. I will be at the Bristol game and I will stand and applaud in memory of his all too short life. My condolences to his family and friends. RIP Daniel sleep well mate. 💔🐏

I very rarely comment on here. I very rarely view here in fact, I don’t know why… perhaps it can be just a little depressing here at times. Maybe I’m too much Mr. Grumpy. But I saw the news on Twitter on Sunday and immediately looked for this thread. And reading all the tributes really made cry, because whether we posted here 10 times per day, or 10 times per decade, we still all knew of B4. I wasn’t even going to comment, but gosh, sometimes a person you didn’t even know really gets to you. Sometimes you just see the person you wish you could be, and I know that B4 was the first to commiserate when any other forum member had a loss, so I just wanted to join the chorus of forum members in thanking B4 for his wonderful contributions, his passion, his positivity, and his brilliant outlook on life. He has contributed to DCFC life in a way that few of us fans ever will. B4, you will be sorely missed by many many people. Rest well.

One only needs to see the number of stories, comments, of those who knew him, those who met him (however brief) and those who knew of him purely online (like myself) to know the personality and character of B4.
I always found an honesty, an unwavering passion in everything he posted. Sometimes unintentionally hilarious, but always from the heart. I have posted on and off here from very near the start of the forum and through all the dark and light his belief shone through. It was only during the admin days when that belief was shaken. It was Daniel's posts that really got to me, the desperation, the need for the club to survive.
A DcfcFans legend. The kind of support I am sure many of us wish we could give the team. 
My condolences to his family and friends.

What a bloke - can’t count the amount of times he’s made me smile on here, it can be a bloody tough forum to read at times when you consider the club we follow but he was just the best
Not only hilarious but completely spot on - the team would do better if we got behind the lads like he did
I still remember laughing my head off as a younger Leicester Ram at the yellow belt saga, in another life I’m sure B4 will be running the resurgent DLF
Haven’t been to a game since my uncle died but would have made the trek from London come rain, shine or national rail strike for the Bristol Rovers game for Daniel
Unfortunately I’m in Vietnam and can’t make it back, have to admit I’m devastated because he deserves the best send off possible - remember back in the days of the DCFC Fans podcast that I said he was my favourite forum member and he always will be
If anyone is sorting out a flag for him etc but finding the cost a bit dear, please let me know as I’d love to help out

Forgive me if someone mentioned this before but at Bristol Rovers game can we have a minutes applause for Daniel. Like many I didn't know him, but through the power of this media, i feel as though i did. So very sad for your family. DCFC have lost a 'diamond' of a fan and human being.

Over 9 years ago I took my lad to his first away game. Charlton, midweek in the 6 weeks holidays. 
 
A game I’ll never forget. He was only 5 at the time. I could see that as soon as we walked into the ground, he might struggle with just how loud it was. We got to our seat and the game just about to kick off and everybody standing. He was only 4 foot tall so I told him to stand on his seat. He still couldn’t see properly but at least it was better. The next minute, a friendly face appeared offering us both a sweet, unbeknown to me at the time it was B4 - my lad then fell down the back of his seat hurting both his legs. B4 was straight there making sure he was OK and for the next 90 minutes made regular check ins with him to see if he was OK and reassuring him not all games are like that. 
 
At HT we spoke at length and swapped user ID’s on dcfcfans. The next day I received the below message direct from Daniel. It epitomises everything about the guy and from that moment, he’s always held a special place in my heart and always will do. Not many like him but I’m so glad our paths crossed that night. 
 
RIP buddy, DCFC won’t be the same place without you. 💙💙
 

So so sad... thousands of rams fans don't know you but today,me included, will be that much sadder with life. Football always comes second when this horrible thing happens. Condolences to you and your family Josh. Hope us fans can give you something against Cambridge to show we are all sharing your grief mate and you are part of the Rams family. Stay strong.

I had an aggressive breast cancer with 7% chance of survival. Surgery, chemo, Radio were pretty horrendous and there were nights I hoped I didn’t wake up in the morning. My partner was wonderful throughout supported by my kids and wider family. I always felt it was much harder for them than for me emotionally. I didn’t have a choice but to get on with it while they had to deal with me and contemplate a future without me.
So, Josh, you have already fought a tremendous battle just being at your wife’s side through this but the aftermath will take even greater strength and fortitude. You will need support for a long time to come - I hope it’s there from family, colleagues and us who love the club, and by extension, you.

A message to you Josh,i am so very sorry for your loss, at this moment be strong my friend and we are all thinking of you
Horrible disease i to lost my mum when i was only 14 years old,then my partner was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 years ago thankfully she has managed to pull through but every day is a timely reminder so i do know what you are going through,
My heart goes out to you and will also look forward to welcoming you back to the team when you are good and ready

My wife passed away at the end of January from a very rare blood cancer. I cant describe the pain and heartache i feel every single day, and the massive void she has left in our lives will never be filled. I can understand exactly how you must be feeling at this moment, i too have been there,  so  make sure you tap into the help and support available to you from friends, family and those at DCFC. God bless you Josh and keep strong.

The mental scars are the hardest thing to deal with, and all we can do as partners is be there to help as long as we can. Not rhat it matters but my wife didn’t have breast cancer, but a more aggressive one and the fact she is here still is extremely fortunate. A lot don’t survive sadly.

I lost my wife to cancer 4 years ago.
There are no words for the pain. No map out of the dark. You just keep putting one foot in front of the other, and by tiny degrees it eases. The gaps between episodes of despair get fractionally wider.
In my experience, masses of support from all around are 10% of the battle. 90% is having a reason to carry on. I had two teenagers. I suspect football may be vital for Josh in that regard.

My wife is a cancer survivor, now almost 4 years and she is doing brilliantly well. She was “lucky” to have had an early diagnosis and that meant her treatment saved her life, (surgery and chemo).It is sad someone so young wasn’t able to be saved, it must be absolutely horrible for him, and children ?, almost impossible to recover from emotionally. My heart goes out to him.

30,000+ Derby fans still behind you, not to mention previous clubs. 
Cancer sucks balls. 
Sure you made her and will keep making her proud.
