Great win and three pts.!
But need to keep feet on the ground…. It was a very gritty performance but if u replay the game (as I did in full) ignoring the fact that you know we won, then overall it wasn’t a stellar performance, with only one other real chance (Max when he jinxed through magically and really should have scored).
Amazing what difference one goal makes … if we had drawn or lost 1-0 then our feelings would obviously be a lot different and then the performance would have been examined a log differently. Did we score and then just manage the game well to hold on to that lead?? We held out well but our lack of creativity was still a worry.
Not at all wanting to dampen spirts after a valuable win but just saying that the 1-0 scraped win shouldn’t hide the fact that we aren’t firing on all cylinders yet. NML’s injury the big concern- gonna be out for a couple of weeks at least even assuming the best… we can’t afford to lose him for any time…

Totally agree. We play an Alamo style…everyone puts their bodies on the line BUT reverting to shape and playing possession based football would take the sting out & frustrate the opposition. And remove the threat. Instead we become condensed around our box and invite a wave of attacks . It’s high risk. Warne seems to favour “heart” over “head” at these times. He’d still applaud the performance of putting bodies on the line if we conceded in the 97th minute; he said so in his post-match. 

Evening Rams, first time poster on here and a Charlton fan with a bit of a soft spot for Derby. 
I just wanted to share my thoughts, vlog, and get some ideas for the fast approaching away tie (first visit). Unfortunately, I lived in Nottingham for 3 years and never quite ventured to Derby, only for a solo house viewing once. What's some good spots for away fans and what are the good touristy things that represent your city in a good light, I like to try and capture the place I visit on my vlogs if I can.
Congrats on the win, I didn't think there was much in it, and thought it was a classic away performance, you slowed the game, frustrated us and had a moment of quality on a mistake to seal the 3 points. My thoughts on Warne are, I believe he will get you promoted, whether it's this season or the next, but I think he'd have yous struggling in the championship. I think back to how good yous were in the early 2010s, and it's night and day. I remember a game at the Valley where we won 3-2 but you played liquid football at times, I've seen a few of your fans say the football is negative and hard to get behind, I'm always stuck in two minds if results matter more though overall.

My uncle Antnony features on here and he's a life long Ram, not sure if he'd be a familiar face. 
 
Always had a soft spot for yous for two reasons, the first being we shared an FA cup final (way before my time of course) and that I actually donned one of your kits when I was younger. It was the away strip from the late 90s, my uncle was trying to convince me to be a Derby fan and bought me it. Funny story is, I ate too much pizza one night and threw up all over it, resulting in it having to be thrown away, a week later I attended the Valley and the rest is history! I was probably one bad pizza party and a trip away from Derby to being a full time Ram haha.
 
All the best for the season, I hope to see some of yous at Pride Park and look forward to my visit. Good luck in the hunt for promotion, hope yous can do it 👍🏻

Nyambe left out of the squad v Mali, marked down as injured on the official team sheet.  He was back in the squad for the 3-0 defeat against Angola on Saturday.

Can anyone tell me why we are suddenly in crisis ahead of this game?
Seems to me that 
a) we have one extra body available for selection in an area of concern 
b) we will be very well placed if we win
I’m just looking forward to a good performance and hopefully a comfortable win. Think Collins and NML will re-find their form.

I don't understand what Bird's done wrong?
He had a contract, he doesn't want to sign a new one. He's got every right to choose what he wants to do. Stayed through the dark times and now he wants to play at a higher level. He has a manager who does not play to his strengths. Fair play to him. If people want to point fingers, go to the club for selling him at the last minute and causing a scene.

The toilets weren't an issue, as nobody could actually move to reach them anyway!
I'll not go into detail, suffice to say beer cans do not retain liquid once they start rolling around on the carriage floor!  🙄

Returns on loan, but didn’t want to sign a new deal. I hope the lad plays a blinder for the rest of the season otherwise he’ll be getting dogs abuse from fans. 
We should’ve just taken whatever more we could’ve got and let him go.

Following a "Strongly worded email" to sometraincompanyorother@gmail.com (🤷‍♂️) after our very poor journey to, and absolutely horrendous journey from Wembley (v Villa PO final), we were reliably informed by said train company that trains are the only form of transport that are not governed by any "maximum number of passengers" mandate.
Just let that sink in for a moment!  The capacity is literally unlimited... (Unlike cattle trains, I'd assume?).
Suffice to say, our journey back seemed to back that statement up!  😲
Now, I hasten to add that I never checked that out for fact-finding reasons... partly due to shock, and partly as it was relayed via an official email communication from the train company's customer relations bod, (So why would I doubt it?), so if anyone can prove this to be incorrect, (I still cba to check!) then the train company's customer relations bod clearly lied to a disgruntled paying customer... which is only one step down from treating passengers worse than cattle anyway, so either way, it's shitty!
