That's tonight's viewing sorted then, cheers chaps ?
On a separate note, has anyone watched Devs? Curious as to what folk think of it.

Wow. Brilliant stuff. Great depth of characters. It's an excellent study of breaking relationships across generations set against a background of corrupt police and Yakuza gangsters.
Quirky. Stylish. Plenty of action too. If you like Tarantino or enjoyed Killing Eve, you'll probably like this.
    On Netflix.

Too right. Thought it was brilliant show. I thought early Tarantino too. Love how the quirky parts creep in as the series progresses, with little sign of it at the beginning. Is the gangster boss's daughter the most attractive women ever too?

Rewatching Freaks and Geeks on amazon prime.
Really good show from 1999 starring James Franco, Seth Rogen and Jason Segel.
Only 18 episodes as it got cancelled early but well worth a watch.

I'm late to the party but I've just binge watched Fleabag and it's a masterpiece!
Also Frozen 2 was really good.

With the absence of sport, either live or televised, I've started looking for ways to keep the Memsahib entertained in the evenings and I thought - "I know, proper telly" as opposed to never venturing outside the sports channels. I'd heard that a lot of people we impressed with "Killing Eve" so last night, we fired up iPlayer and gave it a go.
First three episodes of Series 1 - blooming excellent. I really enjoyed it. We will watch a few more tonight.

I  think S2 got a little bit cerebral for my liking.  I'm all for thought provoking shows that engage the grey matter, but they really tipped the scales last time.  Saying that Kiksuya and Vanishing Point were two of the best episodes of television in many a year.
The reviews I've read for those episodes critics have seen are very positive and they've commented that the story is simpler this time, so fingers crossed

not sure you get over it, as much as you just accept it. Sadly they are miles apart.
I let my girl go to sleep in 2009. She still pops up in my dreams, and I still get emotional talking about her. Miss her daily.
Sorry for the less than comforting response, but if you're owt like me, you prefer dogs to humans, you will always miss the dog.

I will add however, funny stories that make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, will make you feel better.
I like the one where I took my grandad fishing, and he threw a stick for the dog, she came back with a frisbee shaped cow-pat, that he didn't spot, she dropped it by his feet, he picked it up and somehow it's consistency altered in that split second, and it became like merangue.

Watching Atypical on Netflix. Great feelgood telly. A good smattering of laughs mixed with a nice message. Watch it when you need a pick me up.

Several people strongly recommended it, plus positive reviews on here...
Watched 45mins and turned it off. Thought the whole thing was very hammy and naff. Lots of conversations that were played as 'natural' dialogue but just didn't feel real to me.
Could almost hear the ideas and how they looked written on paper...all felt very heavy handed and clunky to me.
'To show contrast he then calls his wife who is relaxing in a hotel with a glass of wine... Cut to her lying on a bed. "oh yeh baby, are you OK cos its sooo hard being me, just f-ing relaxing here on a bed' (swearing makes it much more edgy).  Etc
Not for one second did I forget it was all acting.
Weird how much I disliked it.

Another good performance again today. Any fears about whether Frank was ready or not have been put to rest, I think. He seems to be have just carried on where he left off at Derby, playing and improving young'uns, trying to take the game to the oppo, pleasing the fans and winning plaudits.
Sad that he, Fik and Mason had to go but happy to see them propering. We had some great nights with them at Derby and at very least I'm grateful for those.

A really rare shirt from 1986/87, the away shirt, the Philip Gee v Sheffield United shirt ! Promotion ! Added to the collection, must only be a couple to add now to complete all of the shirts since 1970.

Fantastic. Love that. Surely we can oblige?!!? Would love to see Swindles in front of the camera and you know who saying "David Swindlehurst...welcome back to Derby!" {and... close eye lids}.

Biley & Swindlehirst were a great forward combo in the same way that Marriott & Martin can be.
