Watch a game on telly and you may not think much of Collins.
Watch Collins live and you'll see someone who gives his all and makes loads of very decent runs that generally don't get noticed by team mates. He may have the odd strop when he doesn't get played in but it doesn't stop him making those runs.
With Joe Ward's crossing, someone half as good at LWB and possibly Bird or Hourihane playing more advanced, I think he'll bag 20+ this year.
Delighted he scored last night.
I watched it live but saw the highlights when I got back.
Here's a freeze frame BEFORE Joe Ward receives the ball.
The player with his arm in the air is the 'useless, unintelligent, lazy etc etc' Collins.......halfway through a 40 yard run, anticipating play, showing where he wants the ball........towards the end of a pre-season friendly 'that doesn't matter'. How many times does he do this and not get the delivery?

Agree, it'll feel strange to have one of those again though: McGoldrick, Martin, Howard (IIRC), Biainio, Wanchope our latest successful forwards all known to drop deeper to get the ball. In fact 'fox in the box' brings one name to mind (shudders), we are about due one  though.

Give Collins chances like that and he’ll score 20 this season Easy, that’s he type of striker he is

Smart move for me, am I right in thinking this won’t count towards our playing squad wages and instead on the coaching side. There to back us up should be needed. Good bloke too. 

Warne knows far better than any of us on what it takes to get promotion from this league, he has done it 3 times all in recent years so knows his stuff, its also why we got him here in the first place.
So far the business he/we have done imo has been brilliant so lets trust him to get the attacking players/strikers he wants & judge them on what they do in a rams shirt. Lets not write them off before they even kick a ball because of their age or previous scoring records, players like McGoldrick, Kazim-Richards and to some extent Martin all signed with some fans negativity for 1 reason or another and all went on to be decent signings.
So if its Rhodes, Sharp, Godden or someone else...if Warne picks them to join us, I back his decision & they will get my 100% support.

You're not intelligent enough to be commenting on these things. I regret being even slightly restrained in my comments before now.
Having facilities at your disposal doesn't magically fix mental health issues. ''Because he could'' implies an element of control over his outcome... I reckon being molested as a child is going to mess you up to the point football doesn't matter. If he ''could'', i'm sure he would have been a worldbeater week in, week out; the fact he COULDN'T highlights how damaging MH can be. 
I cannot fathom not having the self-awareness to realise how clueless and uneducated you're coming across...

The impact of someone's childhood and how they're brought up, what they learn and what they experience shapes and effects their entire life.
Unless you're a footballer, then as soon as you get a big contract every single problem and bad experience vanishes for good. Don't you know that's how it works?
