Regarding the flags....If it was just the club doing this then it would seem a tad gimmicky and contrived.
The fact that it is a bunch of ordinary fans who give up their own time to raise funds to get the flags made then turn out to place them round the stadium makes it unbelievable support.
Great work from the 1884 Group, Nick the flagman and all the other volunteers who get up off their arses to try and help our club.
Keep up the good work fellas, its really appreciated by the vast majority of us. Its an added bonus if it annoys the gumps!

Despite having had many difficulties in her life including a disability from birth that doctors told my grandparents would mean she'd never live past her 7th birthday and then she'd never walk unaided and then she wouldn't be able to have children, she remains the most positive, generous and cheerful person I know.
If I'm feeling a little low, a quick chat with mum soon lifts my mood.

Thought that would come back to haunt me at some stage.

To be honest I've got no idea. My wife is Spanish so presumably I could/can apply any time I like. Up until now there has been no apparent advantage in applying for one. What I don't know is if Brexit can have any drawbacks in my case i.e. living over here.

The Sunday roast whipped up last night.  Aberdeen angus joint slow cooked for 8 hours, new potato crunchies, home made yorkshire, broccoli, baby carrots, stuffing balls & proper gravy.  Christ almighty it was good...

Nice one Muski - on a similar note, when you disagree violently with someone online about a particular subject but then on another topic you find that you have common ground. You realise that we all come into this world the same and we're not always so different as it sometimes feels
I did consider proposing that no one was allowed to post in the annoyance thread without posting one here as a counter balance, but that seemed a bit too draconian!
 

Sorry I've taken so long to respond, but I had to get my nephew's consent and then just didn't manage to get round to it. He can be found on twitter, Daniel Lucas (@daninerklucas), and he lives and works in Alvaston.

I have a Ram on my right shoulder that I had done in 1990 (I think) and to this day I have never regretted it for one single second, I often catch sight of it in a mirror and inwardly smile to myself. It looks like a 30 year old tattoo now and I am considering getting it "freshened up" a little actually but the tattooist said "no, leave it, that is who you are..."
Also got a jedi knight emblem, a couple of periodic table elements and a half sleeve full of numbers that mean something to me, including 1884..
