Serial Whingers Notts Forest playtime, which we simply cannot accept.
richinspain replied to REDCAR's topic in Football Forum
To be fair, we were working under various forms of transfer embargo and not spending £250 million. -
Yes, I was really looking forward to this. The first two episodes (released at the same time) set the tone, but I hoped that the anti-Brit angle would change. It did, it got worse. All very nice to look at, but not a patch on the previous series of the same ilk by the same producers.

Corey Blackett-Taylor - Signed on Loan/Permanent in Summer

Alternative view: He is proving to be struggling to settle in due to injuries in the mould of others we signed. -
So he's turning into more of a pantry rather than a wardrobe in his footballing twilight years?

Points Deduction, Who's Next And When Will It Stop?
richinspain replied to ram59's topic in Football Forum
It's obvious that we would have got to the point where amortisation was a problem, however the actual amount would not have been the same. We weren't given the chance to sell off players. Obviously it would have had to have been players who had come through the academy in order to be a positive on the accounts. The team would probably have looked something like the one that Rooney was putting out. Old men getting one last chance at a big club and kids of 16-18 starting out in the game. Mel Morris, or more likely Stephen Pearce, surely had a plan to at least reduce any points deductions that were coming if we failed to get promoted. Unfortunately we hit the perfect storm before we were able to reach at least a small inlet that provided some form of protection. -
When did @Boycie become DCFC IT?

@Owen87ITK, any possibility? -
I think it's coincidence. The only thing is he gets lucky with his guess every single game 🥷

Oooooh, at last something happens.

So many threads about players or coaching staff who aren't performing well, so I thought I'd bump this one. Although he's not infallible he's still doing tremendously well, especially for someone of his age. Well done Cash!

Perhaps someone should start a new thread?

I made all my money from a football forum, honest.

Roy Greenwood. Famous for be named Reggie. Just about sums him up. -
Brown is considered one of the closest to being ready for our first team, yet can't get into Gateshead's starting team. I confess, I'm a Warne in'er, but because he has the team in second place in the table. I don't "enjoy" many of the games, not for the style of football, I don't think it's that far from Arthur Cox's style. He always said that the team had to earn the right to play to their style. I believe that Warne still hasn't been able to put out a team completely as he sees how it should be. However the thing that really gets my goat is using the very limited game time for the youngsters as a stick to beat him with. They really don't look "ready" to me. Playing for a team lower in the pyramid has to be the way to do it. Have them watched. Let the experts see what they are capable of. Even if they don't pull up any trees in their loan spell it doesn't mean that they won't make it in football. They will learn from the experience. Any way, I've gone off on a verbal ramble. Basically, I don't see any of our current youngsters as being ready just yet. If they're not ready then they're not ready. More importantly the manager doesn't see them as being ready. Yes, Klopp played several youngsters in the cup final, but ONLY because he felt that they were ready. He wouldn't have risked losing a cup final just to give them a taste of it all. Coco played a very young team against Forest, and was never forgiven for it. If there is a player that rips it up whilst on loan then we should be screaming for his inclusion, but we haven't got one yet.

Dajaune Brown - loan to Gateshead until end of season

The under 21s were allowed to play for the under 21s even though they were out on loan a few years back. Is that rule no longer in effect? -
I've heard that they've got a really nice car park though!
