Absolutely this. Our future depends on the skill, knowledge and professionalism of the Admins. We must support them.

I know that, but you talk as if Morris is profiting from the situation. To me he is just trying to limit his losses to the £200 million he's already invested, rather than stump up another £20 million he probably hasn't got.
Providing we secure a buyer and continue as a football club, then it's a bloody good asset for the new owner to have and I would be very relieved to have 'our' stadium back.
If we don't, then we will be liquidated and everyone loses out, including Mel Morris.
But I don't think we should jeopardise the future of Derby County because the best outcome for the club happens to be a good outcome for Morris too.

In a Nutshell, the EFL's position is ....if we make a decision on this to unblock the logjam, Boro will sue us instead of Derby.
The extortion is quite simply that crude.

The responsibility for stopping us getting out of where we are, MFC/WW/EFL

I'm sure somebody from Quantuma will read this.
I think the way they've handled what can only be described as 'a situation they'll probably never have to deal with again and made difficult in many ways' very well and they seem to be the only ones who come out of this with any credibility.
We as supporters are obviously wanting answers everyday but that's not possible. I also believe that the admins was taken down a garden path by the EFL who led them to believe we could name a preferred bidder until the goalpost was changed last minute.
The EFL would have been laughing at Wayne Rooney after hearing his press conference last Thursday knowing that after the Quantuma's meeting with the EFL, we wouldn't be announcing a preferred bidder.
It's clear as day that the EFL, Boro and Wycombe are trying to turn DCFC fans against Quantuma - Don't let that happen, Quantuma IMO have been very good in all of this and deserve some huge praise. We heard it from Owen Bradley that these guys are doing everything they can.
As a supporter base we've been excellent all season but even more so in the past 7 days - Let's keep sticking together and one day very soon, we'll get rewarded and the future will be black and white, without any doubt.

Why on earth should the administrators tell Gibson what is happening with HMRC or MSD???? This is beyond madness now.

It is hard to see how the EFL as an entire organisation are not "conflicted" by their implicit agreement with MFC that the initial claim against the EFL would be "stayed" if action could be taken against DCFC?

How can the EFL not see this?

Agree with this, I feel sure any lender would want the loan to be underwritten by a guarantor, otherwise there would be a high risk of losing almost all the capital. Suggests a PB is in place but not announced.

No problem mate. I don’t think the Administrators would be doing anything proactive currently without the agreement of the preferred bidder. If they haven’t got a preferred bidder on side they may as well, and will, close the gates.

    A few thoughts.
The administrators powers to borrow I believe are very restricted. It must only be the case that they can if they can evidence it is for the betterment of the existing creditors recovery.
They would only borrow with the agreement, and support, of the Preferred bidder who might be the lender, or will be tied in if not.
If the Preffered bidder is not lending the money you can can only think it would be MSD against the stadium security, but that might need Morris’s agreements depending on the wording of the existing security/loan documentation.
Any loan of £7 million you would think should include reducing some of the instalment indebtedness to Arsenal and Poznań. So the net debt position is probably only increasing maybe by a few million.
Just my thoughts. I know nothing more than anyone else on here really.

That podcast tells me that Boro were not in the slightest interested in the EFL applying rules. They were after money. And once again Parry brought up the stadium sale without saying that that point was resolved in Derby's favour, with no punishment. I have no problem if they give their side as long as the are honest....that was NOT.
Boro got the application of the rules that they claimed they wanted (according to Parry) but then simply saw an opportunity for money. Someone ask Parry if he can give any other example of this opportunism? There must now be about 20 cases of exceeding FFP...have any others been followed up with a claim for compo?? None...and we get 2.

Oh I am positive mate. I am just not going to lose time worrying over something that is not in my control. I will hurt if this goes pear shape, but I don’t think it will. Worst case, I still can’t believe it will be any worse than us being at -15 points in Tier 2 at the start of next season. That could be real fun, with the revitalisation of the club and its support brought about by our collective hatred of the EFL.

I think we need to put the ball in the Boro/wycombe court to force them to turn down or accept an offer. Along the lines of we accept no liability whatsoever, however, to break this impasse and meet the Government's aim of finding a pragmatic solution we offer to make a donation to Charities of their choosing of £100k to each club if they agree to drop their claims. This is a one off time limited offer to draw a line under the issue.
It would simply make everyone look in their direction and ask Well? They need to be forced, publicly to make a decision on some sort of offer....if they turn it down we say we tried but, as we expected, they simply want money from us.
