And Kirchner's money should arrive within days. The difference being: creditors getting more money, no points deduction, and us having a better squad for next season.

Seems to me that in the assessment of both the Admins and the EFL, the CK bid still has the most realistic chance of reaching a successful conclusion, otherwise the (supposed) imminent end of exclusivity would have ended.
If anyone can come up with a more likely realistic theory....feel free to share.

London and Football has been awash with "questionable" money from numerous "Questionable" individuals from numerous "questionable" countries, running into £billions....Kirchner is involved in sporting sponsorship across different continents, the minute he tries to send funds to purchase DCFC, suddenly the Authorities find the red tape draw...........what a surprise.

He couldnt. The anti-money laundering regs are law. Institutions and their employees must follow the rules. Employees can go to prison for up to 5 years if not followed. All financial institutions have them. I think CK is being smeared again by sources saying he tried to get around them. I work for an accountancy firm - the procedures we have to follow before being able to accept an overseas client are onerous. To assist we pay to use a clearing service which looks at various things including whether directors are politically exposed people also, etc. when clearing an overseas resident individual it takes 2-3 working days but an overseas company it is 10 working days. Nothing can do to speed up however urgent the client query is. Have no idea what financial institutions have in place but assume more onerous perhaps. Rather try and avoid the AML checks perhaps CK did something as simple as try to bring the money in in his own name rather than through a company as quicker or use a different bank as they may have different procedures that may be quicker. (Only real criticism is CK's advisers should know the checks take that long and got the money in earlier.)
We have no idea as ever but someone is trying very hard to discredit him through the media and make him the bad guy arent they? Hoping he will get hacked off and walk? Exclusivity will end? Or because there are real concerns on fund sourcing? We may never know but vilifying someone based on no evidence other than leaks from someone possibly with an agenda is crazy

Whilst these anti money laundering police are busy with Derby county you have to assume they were on holiday when gun smugglers were buying Portsmouth or Russian puppets were buying Chelsea or sinking money into Arsenal or Everton as there does seem to be a lot of inconsistencies around

This is exactly what I dont understand...this will have cost him probably a few million already in legal fees....for what reason, it will hardly enhance his reputation in the sporting world. I find it very hard to believe that he did not fully intend to buy the Club and that he could afford to do it. It is completely baffling unless the Nixon version is accurate and its all down to the money laundering checks??

The money is in the UK system and is being checked for provenance. Ok.

    Why are people panicking?

It is another hurdle in the mass of hurdles needed clearing in this entire process.

Also- Ashley is not some savior that anyone is keeping from saving Derby. He had every opportunity over the last few months to table a bid and position himself as the lead option…and he never did.

Unless CK’s money turns out to be laundered or have sus provenance…it will clear and be deposited in the creditors accounts/team accounts/etc. And just like any deal- when the check clears, the deal is completed.

And of course, it could be the deal gets done today, but last night/this morning someone was seriously close to collapsing the deal - Dawes didn't say it had, only that it was seriously close to collapsing. If it doesn't, that doesn't mean it wasn't close to and it doesn't mean he was wrong to run the story.
Whatever his flaws,ed Dawes is a Derby fan and he's not playing games for the sake of it.

I doubt that's the case tbh. It's not like Ed is reliant on breaking news to keep him in a job (he's not a journalist desperate to fill pages in a paper, or to drive punters to his Patreon etc), he's a radio broadcaster first and foremost.  I have no doubt that he's been asking questions from the contacts he has, probably because Derby fans keep bugging him, and he's been told something by someone he trusts and has gone with it.  It may turn out to be wrong, or (most likely IMO) only partially true, but I don't doubt that Ed is acting in good faith.
