The modifier you're missing out on is the emotional component for a lot of people. I go to Derby games because I like watching football and I have an emotional connection to the club. I don't expect to be entertained, because it's not guaranteed.

It's not that there's anything outrageous about this statement, there isn't. Of course, he's right, but it's also blindingly obvious; loans going back and contracts expiring - we'll need those signings regardless of the league we find ourselves in. It's that it consistently happens in the wake of a win, which makes it look like Bris is content to urinate on everyone's chips and bring the mood down. All people want to do is enjoy the good feeling 3 points bring, and be excited about promotion. Let us worry about next season after (hopefully) basking in the glow of a first promotion in 17 years. You could level that at a number of the first team regulars - or Max Bird who definitely won't be playing for us next season.

I went to see Catfish and the Bottlemen a few years back, not long after it had opened. The layout limits it, and the sound quality was toss. Maybe it's improved since, but all it seems to be used for is spoken stuff (comedy, panto, etc)
