  1. I've found the ticket site to be flaky as all heck. You do you. It doesn't particularly matter, just means PP will still be rocking.
  2. This is the first time they've announced it on their socials.
  3. I agree with everything you've put here, and absolutely, I hope to be entertained - and, I may be stating the obvious, but if given the choice, it ranks thus: Win and play well Win and play not so well Lose and play well What I take issue with is people's stupid expectations. We had the same under Mac when we were playing well AND winning. To pinch a phrase from Alpha a long time back, we weren't winning-y enough. I take issue with the ones that don't accept that we have those things tying a bit of a hand behind Warne's back.
  4. I believe the club have been drip releasing seats, especially the ones closest to the away support in the East stand. It'll also be that all the hospitality has sold out, I expect?
  5. Especially when they've been deducted points for allegedly fielding an ineligible player...
  6. It's a way down my list of priorities for going. I just said, I don't expect to be entertained. Mostly because, especially this season, there's always a team doing their damndest to stop that. Yes, sport is entertainment, but only really for a neutral. In my opinion.
  7. The modifier you're missing out on is the emotional component for a lot of people. I go to Derby games because I like watching football and I have an emotional connection to the club. I don't expect to be entertained, because it's not guaranteed.
  8. I can't see anything to confirm numbers, but it would appear so: https://soccerhint.com/sky-bet-league-1-prize-money-the-analysis/ Figures from last year, winners got £600k, runner up got £500k, with the average across all teams to £230k.
  9. There was a brief rumour about his interest when we were in admin, IIRC?
  10. It's not that there's anything outrageous about this statement, there isn't. Of course, he's right, but it's also blindingly obvious; loans going back and contracts expiring - we'll need those signings regardless of the league we find ourselves in. It's that it consistently happens in the wake of a win, which makes it look like Bris is content to urinate on everyone's chips and bring the mood down. All people want to do is enjoy the good feeling 3 points bring, and be excited about promotion. Let us worry about next season after (hopefully) basking in the glow of a first promotion in 17 years. I'm going to enjoy it and praise the good job Warne has done this season. Record points tally, record away wins in a season... it is about time the club and fans had some good times.
  11. Great to see Clowes supporting too - hoping the one club approach does wonders for developing the women's too. Fantastic achievement, up the Ewes!
  12. If we're promoted at PP, it'll happen. I hope it doesn't happen at Cambridge though, should we have results go our way there. They said the same thing just before the Brighton play-off semi. I may or may not have been on the pitch that day.
  13. I know this isn't *precisely* what colourblind people see, and it varies depending on the type of colourblindness, but these pictures do provide a window into what some people so afflicted see. Must be horrendous when you can barely pick out the difference between the Derby and Blackpool players at a glance.
  14. https://www.efl.com/news/2024/april/19/efl-statement--fa-cup-replays/ EFL going all out. Fair play.
  15. Fantastic pics. Out of curiosity, where does one procure ones film? I have a Pentax ME Super from the early 80s that I'd love to revive.
  16. You could level that at a number of the first team regulars - or Max Bird who definitely won't be playing for us next season.
  17. I'm sure Max will want a promotion on his CV to cap his time at his boyhood club. To suggest he won't be committed to this shows no respect to him. I just wouldn't risk him for this game, save for some minutes at the end.
  18. It was purely for emotional reasons - yes, on logic, why bother? It was a momentary weakness. Won't happen again.
  19. One of my favourite goals, in one of my favourite games. I was right behind it too. What could have been...
  20. Would love for him to get a 5min cameo against Carlisle. Such a shame to see a good talent hampered by injuries.
