    Too true!
As I said earlier, this is a loss within the family. Glad Jake passed away so peacefully.
Your comments on this forum are spot on.
Folk genuinely care for each other and are a massive support at times like this.
    All the best bruv.

I am not a number, I am a free man!
First time Dad took Mozza and me to Portmerion they were filming "the Prisoner" there.
Patrick McGoohan passed us in his car.
We watched "Danger Man" for ages thinking he was filming an episode!

Tuna pasta bake topped with cheese, with Brussels sprouts. Cooked by my own fair feet. Still alive and so is Mrs B.

    I!ve got that one anorl!
Like me, it's been round the block a few times.
    Been broken and repaired.
Shows lots of signs of wear.
But I wouldn't part with it for the memories it represents.
I bet Mozza has got one too. ...........

He probably broke his and swapped it for mine in the first place!?

Around here I struggle to find a space. I have a disabled blue badge and often have to push my wife's wheelchair from a distance as so many cars have parked 'just for a minute'.
I hope none of you have to view this 'annoyance' from my viewpoint.
    Just saying!?

Not watch related but listening to Radio Luxembourg under the bed clothes on a tranny that faded and whistled is one of my all time early teen memories .Bryan Hyland Sealed with a Kiss always reminds me of that time .

That'll keep us going.....a few times in the night probably!?

A couple of months ago I bought a beautiful 9carat gold Automatic Garrard watch as supplied th the top Royals. It has Quartz like accuracy and I had a squid change from £200. Lovely watch. Great investment IMO. Came from EBay in original box with it's original case, and warranty.

Whenever you buy a watch from so called luxury brands I highly recommend you get one with the original box and papers. Including the service history and the certificate of the authencity. I also recommend that you get the watch by someone you know you can trust and one that offers you some kind of guarantee.
If possible do the deal in a place where a professional can check that everything is in order. Feel free to PM me if you are interested to buy a vintage or luxury watch, I can recommend you trusted sellers and perhaps give a hint about prices and brands and other stuff too.

I've just won the bidding for a 50 year (ish) old Seiko Automatic with alarm. said to keep perfect time. Also said to have an alarm like the old alarm clocks.
My max bid was £52.01 and I got it for £37 (inc PnP).
You don't need to spend thousands to get a classic.
    I'm happy anyways!
