Hold on, pricing structure ?   Haven't we just had a big price rise - 20% in my case.

That was just to cover the last 5 annual price freezes.
There now follows a rise to cover inflation... and another last minute rise to cover promotion!  👀

More details of the pricing structure and on-sale dates for the second phase of sales will be communicated next week and although the club recognises that many fans are experiencing a rise in the cost of living and is determined to keep prices fair, competitive, and affordable, as has been regularly communicated, it will include an additional price increase compared to the first phase of sales.

Technically, that may not be the case...

Be daft of them to linger though... as others have said, get 'em sale now, whilst folk are still buzzing! hic!  🍻🐏
Once the fixtures are out, and we see the size of the mountain to climb... etc... etc... 🤣

  3. I can't believe they were so haphazard in the first place... Why TF did they not just straighten the ground out before submitting the plans!  This does my OCD no good at all.  🙄

Starting from my seat above the club shop, we should (in theory!) have...

    North Corner
    North East Stand
    East Corner (Away fans)
    South East End
    South Corner
    The Toyota South West Stand
The West corner (where the scoreboard is... still with me, yeah?)
    The North West Stand.

I tried using my compass to get out on Saturday, and nearly ended up on the Goddamn pitch! 😲

But while an outcome is expected soon there is not the same timeframe attached to an appeal decision apart from the backstop of 24 May, which is five days after the final games of the Premier League season, for all cases to be resolved.

Forest’s case will certainly be finalised before the end of the season.

Look at the situation with Everton and Forest. 4 games left and not knowing if there will be more points deducted. Absolutely ridiculous.

That's the problem with today though, yoof.
    Everyone wants it now.

What's the rush to find out?
Next you'll be moaning about having to wait to find out whether the ball crossing the goal line is an actual goal, or whether there was a handball 5 minutes earlier.  Anyone wanting to just jump up and celebrate as soon as the ball hits the net is just making themselves look very silly!

    Just chill, dude!  🙄

Stuff like that is what we will miss about League 1. I can’t see Middlesbrough doing that.

If they did, the photo's would probably be splattered with batter anyway... and pubes, probably!  🤮

Archie’s last match at Shrewsbury. All those missing seats!

Derbyshire beat Northants that day to win the NatWest trophy. I remember watching the climax on tv after getting back from Shrewsbury. Not entirely sure how but I definitely remember doing that.

I think your memory is confusing different events youth. You're right about those events being on the same day, but that was September 1981 and Archie's last game was May 1984 at Shrewsbury. He wasn't at Derby in 1981.

Then Shrewsbury away with the seats flying was September 81 then. Unless we regularly went to Shrewsbury and put the seats on the pitch!

I think the ultra rowdy one was the last game of the season, 1984. Our fans celebrated relegation to Division 3 by wrecking Shrewsbury.

Habit then because seats were flying everywhere in 81! I can’t say I miss it but he seemed normal at the time.

As a cricket-detester, I recall the rush back to catch the end of the cricket in the Derby pubs.

I don't recall the score, it being Archie's last game, or any flying seats.

I was settling down with a young family by '84, and not a regular match-goer, so that NatWest day was almost certainly '81.  🤷‍♂️

The new main stand that nearly bankrupted them set back about 30 yards from the pitch, the rest of the stadium crumbling. I've never been so cold in my life. I thought I was going to lose my toes.

If I recall correctly, there was no disruption to the stadium as they built the new stand literally over the other side of the road during the season, then demolished the old one in the summer!  They could have probably rotated the pitch 90 degrees after they'd done!    🤣

I should send it in to the local paper to save others making the same mistake I have.

The wife's brother comes every year.

The in laws come every year.

The wife has been multiple times.

You should go, it's great they said. Absolute codswallop.

From the minute you drive in you know it's going to be hell, long queues to be directed which way to drive through the concrete jungle, most places have check in desks in a nice reception area. Not Butlins. You check in like you're crossing a toll bridge and it's a dash for a parking space near your apartment.

I walk into the apartment and it feels like a game of one wrong step and you're through the ceiling, floorboards caving in all over covered by a laminate lino. It's ok, I won't walk around, find the bed and it's as comfy as an ironing board and not much longer.

I tip toe to the bathroom and faced with that shower, a shower than is smaller than the one on my Dad's yacht. Unbelievable, I grab the bananas for scale, squeeze in, take all the pictures to upload to social media but wait.....absolutely no mobile signal. Ok, they say they have wifi, well they do, but it's 1 bar of 1mb which comes and goes every couple of minutes.

Properly pee'd off I'm here till Friday and still not feeling 100%, I stay in the apartment all night, excuse being not to infect the other guests, yet truth be told, reducing the population wouldn't be a bad thing, might get on the wifi then.

The wife takes the kids and in laws out to the entertainment, I stay in to hear nothing but feral kids running around outside for a good hour before their parents realised they were being anti social.

I make my way to the kitchen to make a fish finger sandwich, just 2 as they are the chunky ones. 45 minutes in the oven here.

Eat those to be awoken at 6am by seagulls which I can only assume were killing each other.

I feel loads better this morning, but undecided if I should venture out with the rest of the cattle or hide away in the apartment.

I came up with a great analogy for Butlins this morning when the seagulls woke me up. Not sure it’s suitable for TripAdvisor though.

Hear me out though, Butlins is like ahem, in the number 2..

Him “It’s not that bad, honestly you should try it, loads of people do it”

Her “One day maybe, I have to be in the mood to try it”

The day rolls round and after 30 seconds

Her “Get out, get out, I don’t like it, get out!”

I won’t ever ask for it again now as it will just remind me of Butlins.
