SecretDave got a reaction from Warren Hobhead in Get him gone.
Looking at that, why on earth did Mel sack McClaren the second time around? He was doing a brilliant job and had us around the top 10, despite being around the relegation zone when he took over. Ridiculous decision.

I never wanted him to be manager in the first place. I'd put McClaren in charge for the last 3 games then have a re-think where we go from there, depending on what league we're in. Hopefully McClaren can get us across the line to safety.

Not sure if we could tempt Mark Robins to the club. He's done a fantastic job at Coventry, won 2 promotions there. He has also brought through a few young players, so has experience of that.

Ian Evatt would be my number one choice - 4 reasons;
On the verge of taking Bolton back into League One meaning in his first 3 seasons of football management, he will have got 2 teams promoted (other one was Barrow from the National League - he took over after they'd finished bottom 6 season previously) Plays entertaining attacking football - heavily influenced by Ian Holloway's Blackpool side in which he played when they got to the Prem in 2009. His Barrow team were known as 'Barrowcelona' such was the style they played with. Young, ambitious manager on the way up and Derby would be an exciting opportunity for him (rather than us having to convince a 'name' to drop down to our level) He is a Derby fan - came through the Academy here, went to Wembley in 2014 to watch us in the playoff final & in an interview with RamsTV 2 months ago, expressed a wish to return back here one day... https://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/2021/02/ramstv-meets-ian-evatt

If we have no money at all, we might as well give Darren Wassall a proper chance. He deserves it after his years of service to the academy. We're going to need to need his knowledge of the academy even more with potentially having zero cash to spend.

We definitely should have gone for him when Cocu left. You never know, he might give us that little new manager bounce to save us. A win and a draw could well put us across the line.

Personally, I'd like to see Wassall get the manager's job. He knows how to get the best out of our young players, and looking at his record, he didn't do too bad when in charge. I'd certainly turn to him if we were relegated.

Yay, Bournemouth have equalised against Birmingham!

SecretDave got a reaction from Ken Tram in Frank Lampard
I liked Lampard when he was Derby manager. Just didn't like the way he dithered about the Chelsea job at the end, that ruined our pre-season.
It's interesting to note that Wayne Rooney (19 points) has secured more points from his first 12 match as Derby manager than Lampard got (18 points), remembering that Lampard had the luxury of having the likes of Mount, Wilson, Tomori, Keogh etc to choose from.

I don't know much about this player and until 48 hours ago I'd never heard of him, but I am now entirely convinced that if we don't sign him we will be relegated consecutively every season until we are in the conference and if we do sign him we will win the Champions League within five years.
