Just got home. Story of our season tbh. Didn't play that well but somehow still came out with the three points and the title.

Appreciate the kind posts from the posters here. Bolton drew again so hopefully you guys will be joining us next season. You deserve it.

Those seasons all had one thing in common, a lack of widespread social media.
The moaners and the WUMs never had a platform in those years beyond their own small social circle.
I'm sure that I would have been a lot happier this season, if I hadn't constantly reading some of the negative rubbish on here. But I like to read and write about the Rams with a vast majority of the fans on here and so put up with it. My way of combating it, is to have a few days away from the forum after a defeat or particularly poor display.

SW but previous years I’ve been in the south so perhaps that’s why.
I’m old enough to remember 75, 86, 87, 96 and 07 though and just don’t feel this season has the same intensity somehow. Just my opinion, doesn’t mean I’m not loving it though. 😊

Because it's league one. People might claim otherwise, but there is absolutely an element of "we should at least be in the top two in L1" at play, wether subconsciously or otherwise.

Anyone else feel like this is a weird promotion season? It’s like if we do go up, it’s because there are 22 teams worse than us, not because we are in the best two if that makes sense.
I sit here at the game and the atmosphere just feels a little ‘off’ somehow. It doesn’t compare with our previous seasons of success for me.

“He only played a few minutes, and yet he didn't work hard and avoided tussle. If you run less than a footballer who has played 90 minutes, you're not even a footballer. Fame doesn't win football games. If it did, I would have brought in a famous retired player.” - Kim Gi-dong.
JLingz has impressed his new manager already.

My priority today is utterly aimed in Muckerette's direction, as we wave our last goodbyes to her dad this avvy, amidst the gloriously coloured scent of Spring (His favourite season! 😊), but rest assured, given the circumstances, I will have half an eye on matchday proceedings this evening.
Safe trip to all, and here's to an absolutely massive 3 points for the Mighty Rams.
May the Thunderbird gifs be a-plenty.

I do remember them. I had no idea they had such an odd name.
I mainly remember Mills because he's one of the players who sometimes becomes a world beater in the first iteration of the Championship Manager video game. I love this quote about Mills from his Telford United manager, "I don't want to put too much pressure on Lee but I am hopeful he might have the same kind of impact as Alan Shearer had when he moved from Blackburn to Newcastle".

That politicians served the electorate, British bobbies were the best coppers on the planet and the NHS was the envy of the Western world. Seemed credible when I was a kid to be fair.

Correct. My daughter made a 'willie's shrinkle' of him when she was about 8 years old. Anyone remember them? Basically you drew a picture on a piece of plastic, stuck it in the oven and it shrank so you could turn it into a fridge magnet or keyring.

When I was a kid, my Dad told me that the button on the end of the handbrake was the ejector seat.

When I repeated that informarion to him as a mid-teenager, he said ‘don’t be such an idiot, who told you that’. I replied ‘you did’. I believed him for years!
