I've always been a bit fascinated by "anonymous" socialising. How little we know about the people we are talking to/arguing with/wishing misfortune upon (as the day escalates).
We are fairly sure they're a Derby fan, except for the away fans (and one other who comes to mind), but beyond that everything else is unknown. With the exception of course being those of you who know/have met one another.
I haven't. I should've, when I was still in the UK, I regret that a little. So everyone's a mystery! It's enjoyable at times. Even the stuff folks divulge themselves could be, for whatever reason, untrue (although I don't assume it is).
Generally I just wonder how folks are doing. Wondering if they're writing their messages while sobbing, giddily giggling like Homer Simpson, or completely emotionlessly; a thousand yard stare at the screen.
I usually settle on giggling. Makes people's posts more fun.

Yes, having watched both of their games I don't understand which metrics are being applied to make that happen. Bryce Young has been running for his life every down lol

Pre-season rumours of the NFC South's demise have been greatly exaggerated.
A shame the Panthers didn't get the memo, though.

As I posted in the scifi thread somehow (I haven't even opened that thread previously I'm pretty sure):

I have spoken to @i-Ram in the zoom chats. I can assure you that he looks and behaves exactly like George.

More positives than negatives from that Derby performance, but not a good game. The blame lies in no small part to the referee who just wouldn't let the game develop at all; I'd also add that I think only one of yellow cards (to Fish) was deserved.
Derby lost a significant amount of cohesion when Ozoh went off, Osborn was playing like a headless chicken but did settle down a little after Forsyth & Phillips came on, but by then we were committed to parking the bus.
Obviously, should have been 2-0 right at the death - Adams was completely exhausted which makes the miss understandable, but only the timing of it makes it acceptable.
A lot to work on from here, especially if Ozoh is going to be out for a few weeks. It was all very haphazard for most of that half.
Still, we takes the wins, however they comes.

If we changed our national anthem to Bohemian Rhapsody, as we should, everyone would sing it without hesitation.
Current national anthem is so 19th century

I've seen exhausted players do worse things, and often far more impactful things too.
As bad as it was, and if that was the 20th minute he'd be crucified for it, we all knew his legs were jelly before that run, he'd shown signs, so at least he has an excuse.
For some reason as he entered the box I lost all confidence that he was going to score, cant place why though.

I saw a crazy stat that the Steelers are the only team in the AFC North to have failed to score a TD in their first game and yet are the only team in the division with a win 😂Wild.

SaintRam got a reaction from jono in Championship 24/25 rival watch
Early in the season, any opinion we (or anyone else) forms about a player who isn't an established Championship player is purely conjecture; and our opinions of where a team should or shouldn't be come the end of the season is really just the combination of our collective opinions of the team's players.
The idea of having a "got to be winning this" opinion about a team 4 games into a season of the Championship is ridiculous to me.
Got to at least get 25% into a Championship season to start forming opinions of where your team is compared to everyone else's imo.
I've absolutely no idea where our team *should* be finishing, this season. Could be 1st for all I know. I'm just hoping it's above 22nd 😂
