I saw a well coached and set up Derby team defend resolutely, match the home opposition up solidly, create some good chances and take 3 of them whilst keeping a clean sheet.

Birdie was involved in all three goals and is a revelation - good luck to him 😊
I held my breath when Collo went down (just a jarred knee) 😇
subs all did a grand job when needed ✊

The match was heavily influenced by the ref's THREE BIG mistakes, who's knows what the game would have turned out like?
He missed the early blatant handball for a penalty, that would have changed how the game panned out from an early stage. Hourihane's goal would have put us 2 up, putting a different complexion on the game. Then you factor in Wildsmith wrongly getting sent off with half the match remaining and then their winning goal from a penalty for a foul clearly outside the penalty area.
Had the ref done his job properly, you would think that the match would have panned out quite differently, in terms of style, statistics and probably result also. If ever there was a match that should be replayed, this was it. Had it been a draw we would be 4 points ahead of them now and if we had won the gap would be 7 points. I can't help but fear that the result of that ref's actions will cost us at the end of the season.

It is by this grizzled “old school” defender! 😁
Nyambe, Nelson, Cashin & Elder are the strongest back four in this League and can get us promoted out of this division.

I will admit to being very naughty and being sat in the Exeter end (free ticket is a free ticket, can't afford nice things), front row right by the pitch, with some Exeter supporting mates, so had a slightly different view. Some interesting points that jumped out 
KW is super talented with magic moments, but 1st half when he was on my side of the pitch he didn't seem to have any idea what his role was. CN and NML constantly telling him to move forwards or backwards. No ones fault really, but he's a wing-back playing RN's role really 
CN is such a leader, partly jumped out because I noticed him talking KW through a lot 
CE is looking better every game, finally some depth there
Everyone around commented on EA, nothing we don't already know, what a guy 
When I told Exeter mates that MB had left and loaned back they assumed he was off to a far bigger team than Bristol.. Just worth reminding ourselves how much he stands out to those seeing us for the 1st time 
The quality of subs, Exeter subs are league 2 quality, ours aren't a massive drop off and can offer slightly different roles
Chicken curry pie was excellent/ pint was poor 
Game management, most of ours biggest critisim recently, was excellent this time around

Not as many as the poxy excuse for a linesman gave

Great result and a decent performance and great finishing. Shut up the moaners too. Brilliant.

Loved that. Great away performance. Massive shift from almost everyone involved, good goals, defended admirably, 3 points and a clean sheet, happy days 🐏
