As every fan on the planet does too for their club, I hope we push the boat out on a marquee forward as well. But this lad is young and clearly rated by people in the game, could be a good addition to the forward options. 

Hamer is out of contract at Burton, I haven't seen a new contract for him announced yet. His massive long throw would be a huge asset for us. 

Loyd Jones would be ideal, on a free great centre back at 6 foot 3 and 27 years old. Also got 4 goals last year and Cambridge player of the year.

Hopefully we will get to see him during pre season as we saw very little of him last season.

Shocked by the amount of negativity towards Bird. I think he’s one of the most cultured and technically gifted players we’ve produced in years and would much rather hold onto him over Knight or Sibley.
Unfortunately I don’t think we’ll see the best of him under PW; he seems to favour the Bryson/Knight type of midfielder from what I’ve seen so far. My only hope for him in the immediate is that Warne can give him the Barlaser treatment as the 1 in a 3-1-4-2

After looking into Moxon at Carlisle a little more, I really hope we are in for him. He was almost universally rated as the best player in League Two last season, a true box to box midfielder - who had more tackles and more assists than any other player in the division. A true stand out who can provide match-winning moments and grit to keep you in games on the most consistent of basis. 
He won’t be cheap but if we can flip the money from Bird, Knight or even Bielik then it seems like a no brainier to me. What a great find by Simpson and Co - essentially a part time Scottish footballer who has thrived with a full time schedule. 

Competition is rarely a bad thing. I'd still go in to the season with Wildsmith keeping his place, he has earned it as far as I am concerned. It's a good thing for us that if his form goes off a cliff or if he gets injured we have strength in depth.

This thread isn't about how our academy has been run and what players it has produced.

Because football changes, you hear about it very little but all it takes is a club last minute putting a late higher wage offer and the player does a u turn. It happens a lot more than you would think. The people that tell me stuff I trust 100% that they are reputable. 

Or I hear stuff and instead of gatekeeping it, I want to share with my fellow rams fans. It’s never going to be 100% correct because things change. But to call me insecure and lonely is just a bit rude to be honest
