Will they be able to hold on to Tick-Tock?
Isn’t he only on a one year contact? Probably due to pay him a nice survival bonus but then they can release him -
Interesting they used 33 players over the course of the season. Didn’t we use 22? In 46 games… like having an extra team!

We’re going to have to organise a pre-season friendly if we want the Brian Clough Trophy back 😭

He was good last season and deserved to be in the England team ahead of Maguire… he’s been a bit up and down this season (like the rest of the Milan team). Unfortunately he’s been poor in the big games in Europe that those in England might be watching

Don’t like seeing clubs struggle like this after what happened to us, but from a selfish point of view we’ve got two clubs coming down, Wigan and Reading, who are going to struggle next year.
that’s less competition for us.

Nice of Southgate to cap him ahead of Balogun, who we’ve now just lost to the US

... which doesn't appear to give any hint to support your "Sounds like..." theory. 🤷♂️
you sue for the amount of money you think you’ve lost.
They say their lawyers came up with that figure based on logic. That amount can only be based on PL money, unless the lawyers reckon Cardiff would have sold £100m worth of Sala shirts
-

sounds like the £100m is based on Cardiff staying up in the PL had they had Sala.
Shame that clubs have been allowed to sue other clubs over theoretical results.
Can clubs sue referees over bad decisions?
Can we sue that Sheff Wed player for diving and claim we would been promoted? Wycombe claimed the difference between L1 and the Champo was £8m

Probably worth more to us getting a good season out of him in L1 and him leaving on a free than selling him this summer for £250k
assuming his wages aren’t crippling us

basically we did what forest did last year and spaff our way up through the play offs with a little lady luck..
I wasn’t being serious with my post, but we did only finish 2 points off automatic promotion that year!we weren’t helped by the manager falling out with the board and the players arguing over promotion bonuses. Jewel was also a terrible appointment.

I swear the league wasn’t this easy in 07/08. Two champions league finalists in it
I reckon ‘that’ team would have stayed up this year. Teams don’t defend as well anymore, Earnshaw and Miller would have bagged enough goals

Meh. It’s a bit funny but it shows how beatable Wednesday were.
Plus it means we have a team who will be more of a threat next season in the league- jimtastic56 and kevinhectoring

Can u put that away before other clubs (forest) get wind of that potential piss take please

It's a wholesale clearout. Warne was obviously not impressed, but to dump most of the squad is almost unheard of. A few of these will come back to bite us.
I haven't been following them this season but they amassed 1 point in the league, 70 goals conceded
Do we have both lowest points records now for the PL?...

We should spend big and for accounting purposes put all the fees on the last year of the new signings’ contracts. Will be in the premier league by then so FFP won’t matter. can’t see anything that can go wrong.
also we should be targeting whoever Middlesbrough are trying to sign and gazump them

No urgency at all from Leeds. Pathetic performance in the circumstances. West Ham have been out drinking for two days!
