GeneralRam
Surely we must have another striker incoming? Just read on the article on the official site, maybe not.
CornwallRam
[url=http://www.millwallfc.co.uk/news/article/striker-to-sign-602356.aspx]http://www.millwallfc.co.uk/news/article/striker-to-sign-602356.aspx Ram joining Lions Millwall are set to sign Derby County striker Nathan Tyson (30) on a standard loan deal until the end of the season. The former Wycombe and Forest front man will put pen to paper on Thursday morning before training with the squad in preparation for Saturday's Championship clash with Burnley. Nathan has scored 94 goals in a career totalling 264 starts and 136 sub appearances, finding the net five times for The Rams this season. He is eligible to play against Villa in next Friday's FA Cup Fourth Round tie as he has not appeared in this season's competition to date. Nathan has been handed the number 10 shirt. Guest
Only a good move if we bring someone in, otherwise I can see us in a months time with an injury and struggling to find a forward again....Dean Moxey available?

Gary Teale
Well it will be a big saving on the wage bill. Never really worked out, not a good signing.

Guest
recall clause? Don't know, with it being a 6 month one I'm not so sure, unless that was mentioned?
Stedcfc
I think the saved money is much more likely to be invested in the defence if anywhere. I don't think were short of options up front and we aren't short of goals as a team.
ChaddesdenRam
Jamie Ward is a new signing in my eyes. Ward > Tyson all day long. Plus the emergence of Jacobs has meant even less of a chance to play. Theo cant get a game at the moment let along Tyson i dont think we need another striker even with injuries. Plus we all know we are not gonna get anyone.
Gary Teale
Tyson hasn't been in the side with ward out ad now we have seen Jacobs is an option as well. He will be one of the top earners so no point him sitting around. Please go and get a good centre half to play with keogh now Nigel
dabber
I think that breaking the news of the 8M loss right after Tyson's loan news was a clever way of saying clearly this loan does not mean we have any spare dosh rolling around now. Also how much of Tyson's wages will Millwall be paying?
ChaddesdenRam
Also how much of Tyson's wages will Millwall be paying? 50% max. He is a top earner at Debry right?
weston-super
We have enough strikers true. What we don't have is a goal scorer. It's ok to have 5 or six strikers but surely you need to have a natural goal scorer in the mix somewhere ? Time for Jamie Ward to have a word with his mate Billy cough cough Sharp....
