Heisenberg
Anyone seen those pics? Who on earth are wearing Numbers 26 and 27? (Can't be bothered to copy them). I think 26 is Mats Morch (Goalkeeper from the Academy) and 27 is Stefan Galinski (Defender from the Academy).
tinman
They're all wearing GPS trackers so the coaching staff can monitor how hard they're working. The wear them during pre season games too.
adamD
[url=http://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/article/derby-confirm-2012-13-squad-numbers-271482.aspx]http://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/article/derby-confirm-2012-13-squad-numbers-271482.aspx Manager Nigel Clough has confirmed who will wear what squad number for the upcoming new season, which is under a month away from kicking off. Summer signings Richard Keogh, Paul Coutts and Michael Jacobs have been handed the number 6, 7 and 12 shirts respectively, while Republic of Ireland under-21 international midfielder Jeff Hendrick has been handed squad number 8 after he impressively broke into the first-team squad last season. With skipper Shaun Barker ruled out for the entire campaign with a serious knee injury he has not been allocated a squad number, so Jake Buxton will step up to wear the number 5 shirt in his absence. Squad Numbers 1. Frank Fielding 2. John Brayford 3. Gareth Roberts 4. Craig Bryson 5. Jake Buxton 6. Richard Keogh 7. Paul Coutts 8. Jeff Hendrick 9. Nathan Tyson 10. Jamie Ward 11. Theo Robinson 12. Albert
I find it interesting that they have left 21 and 22 free at this time, and that they have still given Ball 16, despite being out on loan for the whole season.

Probably for the 2 new trialists maybe? Clough said Deeneys off on loan so he's going, Davies and Bails likely to be off as well, so thats why they're behind. It also makes you wonder if we're going to sign anyone else? No free numbers...

Animal is a Ram
As seems to be the pattern in English footy. But in the Italian leagues, players tend to have silly numbers Chievo, par example [url=http://www.footballsquads.co.uk/italy/2012-2013/seriea/cverona.htm]http://www.footballsquads.co.uk/italy/2012-2013/seriea/cverona.htm
Hucknall Ram
Derby County have made a handful of changes to their squad numbers for the 2012-13 season, which kicks off tomorrow night with a Capital One Cup clash with Ssausagehorpe United at Pride Park Stadium. The squad numbers initially allocated up to the number 20 remain the same as the ones issued last month by manager Nigel Clough, but there has been a slight change to the numbers worn by striker Steven Davies and goalkeeper Saul Deeney. With skipper Shaun Barker ruled out for the entire campaign with a serious knee injury he has not been allocated a squad number, nor has midfielder James Bailey although that may change should the available-for-transfer midfielder be included in the first-team squad on a matchday. DcFc Dyycheee
I like James Bailey but no way good enough for a first team spot imo. So if we get any fee that would help bring in a striker, I would sell him.
jagerbob
This just proves the rumours as far as Im concerned that Bailey has fallen out with Clough. its fine Clough saying that bailey might not start with hendrick and Bryson infront of him. But he'd still be my choice as next in line as soon as injuries and suspensions kick in. I think this just prooves that Clough is ready to give bailey the maguire treatment. Ash
Bailey was pretty awful at the Chesterfield game before he was subbed. That might have been his last chance to stake a claim and he let it slip, i'd accept a realistic offer for him for sure.
