Bid in for Jacobs, suppose it's going through the contract negotiation phase. Derby giving the sense that we're in pole position to sign him. Since he's out of contract we can negotiate terms anyway and if Northampton reject the fee, it goes to a tribunal because he's a young lad coming through their ranks. sage Posted May 23, 2012 Share Posted May 23, 2012 Just listened to it. Sounds like Maguire will stay if we can't get a good enough fee, maybe the Savies situation could change things. NC also says he wants fees for all the players going inc Croft. With regards to Shackell NC says he doesn't want to sell him but if a substantial fee comes in that allows us to replace him with a CB and another player.
