Derby_Dave Posted June 5, 2012 Share Posted June 5, 2012 Robinson is still pants :-) My point still stands, any signing from a lower league is a gamble, they may look the dogs, but the question is can they step up that level, last season Maguire was our stella forward signing, without opening up the whole debate again, but look what happened there, can we afford to waste another 500k ?? On the flip side, he may turn out to be another Bryson signing. Every transfer is a gamble Leeds! Just ask Fergie about Veron or maybe Chelsea about Schevchenko. Yes he has the potential to get back to near his best, but he's still never been worth the £50m they spunked away on him. And Bebe for £6m/£7m? That was just ridiculous.
