Are you bringing extra plastic sheets to bang next week or something?

Would you like some crayons duck?

Meh! Let Stoke have their day in the sun - it won't last forever.

Eventually Pulis will either lose his touch (ala Jim Smith) or he'll move to a "bigger" club. Either way, at some point things will start to unravel and Stoke will follow the same pattern of so many other mid-weight clubs (e.g. Charlton, Portsmouth, Birmingham and of course Derby).

Enjoy your game against 'the scum' a bigger and more passionate set of fans, even if they are just as delusional as you.

Bigger? Forest couldn't sell out European games in their heyday, famously criticised by Clough Snr for it. They've won more trophies but they certainly ain't more passionate or bigger in number...

The match was yesterday and Stokie fans are still here? Bloody ell, you're forum must be pretty boring...

they dont have any wives or girlfriends to take out.I would doubt any of them have kissed a girl.they just spend all day on the internet spouting ***** and wan*ing over pictures of animals.(otherwise known as the stoke midfield).

So nobody has mocked our style of play, that I should be embarassed to support Stoke?

There's a difference between looking through your eyes, and seeing a completely different game, several people have said that Derby were the better team, which is ludicrous.

My bite came first from some of these comments, even if they weren't meant for a bite.

As for the memories I've 'surpressed', well no, it makes it all the sweeter being where we are now.

I don't think you should be embarrassed, but if you look at the game again yesterday, I think you'd have to agree that our football - keeping it on the ground, holding on to the ball - was better.

I have respect for the organised, counter attacking football Stoke play, and the fact they make the most of set pieces - there's as much skill required in that as 'tika taka', in my opinion. What I hated about yesterday, and made me lose respect for Stoke, is the moaning about every single challenge - Crouch particularly. Whenever Barker or Shackell went for a header he turned straight to the referee for a free kick. There's just no need for it, especially considering how aggressive you are in a tackle. There were also a fair share of 'taking the hit' bookings to avoid one on one opportunities, or attacking moves from Derby - some would call it tactical but it's hardly in the spirit of fair play.

I think it's fair to say we were 'Stoked' - it wasn't pretty but you did what you set out to. I'm happy with the way we played and I thought we matched you for much of the game.

Good luck for the rest of the season, but don't expect to make too many friends along the way.

Am bored now with all this hyperbole from a couple of Stoke fans with the ability to string a few sentences together, am far more interested in discussing how as a team we could not manage one shot on target for the whole 90 minutes in a "local" derby

Because every time we got near their box they tackled us, or blocked the efforts, or, in JH's case, smacked it wide when very well positioned. Every time we crossed it they headed it away without even jumping, and every time we whacked it up to Ball, one centre half blocked him off American-football style whilst the other got the ball. But at least we tried, and carried on trying.

If we were playing a mid table Championship side and managed no shots on target, I'd be concerned; against a top half Prem side? One of those things. We needed something to go our way with some luck, a deflection or a refereeing decision, but nothing did.

So it's fine you lot having a crap atmosphere, but when we did it a couple of years ago, against a completely unattractive team, in a game we were favourites it's worthy of dragging up?

Will next weeks atmosphere be you banging a bit of plastic mumbling derby, derby derbyyy?

To be honest what you call a 'great atmosphere' will seem tame to me anyway, I've been to Besiktas, so I'll give it a miss cheers, plus I won't judge your overall atmosphere on a derby game against a team you hate, we'd be the same against Vale, probably louder.

I wouldn't have come on if some of the posts on here weren't so ridiculous, honestly, the ignorance was just too much.

Have you been to Barbados though 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> ......oh and enjoy the ride while you can......it'll grind to a halt sometime soon.....your setup is unsustainable in the med-long term......Well 'done' yesterday and good look for the rest of the competition 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Not so cocky derby fans now, haha

How little you know us.

If we're cocky, we'll continue to be cocky. We can be. As a club with history we know our turn will come around again.

What surprises me, always has, is the engrained cockiness prevalent in any Stoke fan I've ever met. You have nothing to be cocky about. Your history consists of winning a meaningless cup and losing in the only major cup final in your 125+ year existence.

Did Stoke deserve to win yesterday? Of course you did

Are Stoke better than us at the moment? Of course you are

Are we really bothered? No, because we'd be stupid to think that our turn won't come around again. Of course it will, that's the way it works.

Until then, chill out, enjoy yourselves, and get some perspective. If other people don't appreciate your team, who the fook cares? Does it bother Millwall? Does it bother Leeds? Are you really that insecure about your side that you have to seek approval from the fans of other teams?

Oh, and for the record, I know Vale aren't up to much these days, but your lot can drop the "A50 derby" b0ll0cks. As witnessed by the crowd yesterday, you don't mean that much to us. Probably less than Leicester. 3rd worst home gate of the season. Surprised me to be honest, what with Brazil being in town an' all.

Now there's good lads, fook off back to that nuclear blast site of a city of your's...... 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

I'm going to a Besiktas game in the near future. Know a Turkish Besiktas fan.

Looks amazing. Only holds 30k but it looks like it will be memorable!

Absolutely amazing mate, although they didn't like it when we went 1 up.

Upson decided we didn't want to win anyway and hacked down one of their players in the area to get himself sent off, stupid tackle, luckily we were already through.

Also the nicest bunch you could meet, Turks have a bad reputation that is unfounded, well the ones I met anyway. Went into a cafe bar after the game oblivious to their big supporters group being in there (Carsi), but they made us sit down, had a sing along and bought us drinks all night, absolutely brilliant!

Looking forwards to it actually, want to see why so many people hate them!

Our setup? We made about a £6m loss last year, which was covered by Bet365. Not really a lot cosidering how much we spent on players. Coates has invested heavily into the ground, the training complex and the academy, and has always said his long term goal was to make us self-sustainable(or as close as a club can be with all these extortionate wages). As said, we are owned by Bet365 essentially, which is run by Peter Coates, his daughter and his son-in-law, so after Coates is gone we are still in a good position.

Granted, we can't splash out nearly £30m each transfer window, but we have slowly improved over the last 5 years, so it's worth it both short and long term.

We won't get relegated under Pulis either, he has it hard wired into his brain, we always fight and scratch our way the first half of the season to get the points required for safety. When he feels safe enough we start playing some pretty good football, albeit a physical version, as seen at the FA cup sem-final, Arsenal at home, Spurs away and others.

You're right it won't last forever, but we're enjoying it!
