He was integral to our promotion under Billy Davies, same with Moore and Bywater. To be fair think Moore's experience, size and strength helped Leacock out. Didn't Moore get a 4 match ban during the last 5 or 6 games where Leacock and Nyatanga were the CB and that run of games he did not play cost us. Not sure but wasn't it Palace who beat us 4-0 on TV when we looked like a team who could not defend. The last 6 weeks of that season cost us automatic. The 27-year-old Londoner this week left the Rams after five years at Pride Park and now returns to his home city with the O's. However, as he signed after the noon deadline on Friday, he will be unavailable for Saturday's game against Chesterfield, but will be eligible for next weekend's trip to Preston North End. Leacock started his career at Fulham and played nine Premier League games for the Cottagers.
